<p>i know 3 people with pretty low stats that got into ALL the UCs.
one of them came from low-income, single parent family and had a major traumatic incident when she was younger.</p>

<p>Is it possible to get into middle UCs like UCI and UCSB based on your GPA and SATs alone if you have very little ECs?</p>

<p>spoofy - judging by the acceptances at my school, the most I can guess at is that ECs have a much bigger influence (for better or worse) at UCs like LA and B.</p>
