<p>Stop generalizing, it's pointless.</p>
<p>Jocks aren't stupid. There is actually some intelligence that is involved in swinging a bat or kicking a ball. Varsity sports are serious commitments that take up all your time, and there is definitely a lot of blood, sweat, and tears put into every season. </p>
<p>If I were a admissions officer, I'd much rather take a so called "jock" as opposed to some skinny, pimply-faced, glasses wearing, nerd with a lisp and a pocket protector that does homework all day in the basement. There, how's that for generalizing? :)</p>
