Lol..the title says it all! How many of you think they could get a nice score once n for all w/o studyin s h i t?..Lets get some confidence boosters!! C'mon guys..it aint that hard! some say its luck which leads them to success...i say luck is one whore who doesnt sleep in my bed!!!! lol...peace and g'luck guys!

my friend Christa scored a 1540 her sophomore year with like
...one test worth of studying. This past Novemeber test, she took
the SAT without prep and scored a 1590 (missed one math question-800 verbal). As for me, I need a bit of prep so I don't flip out when I'm taking
the test. I know the material..I just blank out a lot.

SAT?

Hm...

Naw. ^_^; I studied and jumped from an 117 Verbal + Math PSAT to a 127 PSAT junior year and roughly 1320 on all three tries at the SAT. Hard stuff! o.O Especially the math in my case, simply because I never liked it.

I've gotten pretty good scores on my AP exams out of pure luck, though :) Went in to the Spanish Lit. test cold - only 81 people in my whole state took it and only four students got 5: 2 Hispanic (me and another person) and 2 white, according to the official Collegeboard stats. ^_^ Heh, gotta know those because I'm applying to UCONN! :D Four on the English without studying... but for U.S., I was definitely studying up until the proctor was wrenching the Princeton Review book out of my hand :) Gotta love tests!

i love hearsay

arsalan, if luck is a whore, wouldn't you need to do something to get it? i guess my luck is a big ol' slut

I bet I could have (too late now). I took a practice test my Sophomore year, prior to any sort of SAT studying (well, I guess taking that test WAS the first component of my SAT studying), and got a 1560, so I'm guessing I could have done about as well on the real thing. I did study a fair deal since then and ended up with a 1590.

My freshman friend scored a 234 on his PSATs without any studying

see my last post

My son probably wouldn't be happy with what I posted. Yes, it's possible. No luck or heresay.

I didn't study but I jumped from 1280 to 1370. Probably because of all AP courses I am taking.
