I'm at an 8, just because I prefer to find out then haha

And according to some applicants from previous years, they [Columbia] say the 15th out of formality/protocol more so than accuracy

Buuuuuut we'll see (:

I'm at 5+3i

if they still dont put the date up tmr im highly doubtful that itll be out on thurs, but... you never know

Erm, I'm thinking this thread is going to cause a wee bit of confusion...

It would be nice to keep hearing from those actually "in the know" concerning the latest news they've heard about the decisions (and how or why they heard what they did). But it's a little misleading, not to mention pointless, for the rest of us outsiders to randomly speculate on a scale of 1 to 10. I think it will only freak us out more...

dude, DO NOT go on college confidential if you want to feel relaxed. just a suggestion.

1.000000000001

Not gonna happen. They'd have to process tax forms AND make up a finaid offer today(before 5pm-ish) for it to happen, unless they just use the profile. I hope the decisions do come out tomorrow, but it's doubtful. I'll be happy if the decisions come out by Friday(so I don't have to do any RD paperwork if I get in).

Do they have to tell you financial aid info before you get accepted/rejected? Are the finaid forms showing up as not being processed?

I thought....they told you your financial aid offer in like march or something?

still no update from the website...

i really wish it were tomorrow, but i have this gut feeling that it won't be. maybe friday? if not monday. argh. why are there no updates still ? :(

now it's 1.00000000000001- 1.00000000000001 = 0

rkutzerr- I believe they give you a preliminary estimated financial aid offer when you're accepted, and then they send you a definite one later in the year after the FAFSA, this year's tax forms, etc. have been submitted.

it won't be, the admission package is not finished yet although most decisions are made. since one of the recruitment clubs have a event next week related to the package it wont be sent out until after that, and as you all know the admission letter is sent out the same day as the email.

Recruitment clubs?
