I never quite learned how to use those cards AND I lost my old game.
However, there's a Pokemon marathon on Cartoon Network.
Bwaha.

Most people didn't play it, just collected it. I spent over a hundred dollars when I was a kid on packs. good times

^ I had a huuuuge binder of the cards. I have no idea where they went..

Over a hundred? That's it?

You clearly weren't obsessed enough.

You had to have watched the shows every morning at 7 AM, spent hundreds upon hundreds of dollars collecting the cards, played the video game, own multiple spin-off games for your gameboy and N64, go to real life pokemon card tournaments, see the movie in theaters over 5 times, be in love with Ash, and pretend that pokemon were real.

I miss those days.

i remembered i spent my whole sophomore year beating all versions of pokemon on my emulator

@hilsa haha that is pretty dedicated.

I still play any new handheld pokemon game that comes out. hope that makes up for my dedication a bit

i love my visual boy advanced emulator. i'm playing leaf green (i think) and have not beaten the elite four... :( i don't know how to get past them! tips?

but once upon a time in elementary school, i beasted pokemon red and pokemon silver. and i collected over 500 cards. heh.

I beat firered a few weeks ago on VBA. This is if I recall correctly

the first girl she's all ice/water. As long as you have a fire or lightening move you are good.

Second is rock? Surf surf surf

Third is ghost. She's a bit more difficult with her two gengars. I had 2 pokemon with Bite, so that made short work of them. They use Toxic and Confuse ray alot, so either have held berries or those full restores. If you don't have any Dark moves, a tank is great against ghosts. I used the lapras from silph co (200+ health at level 35)

Fourth is easy. All dragons, so use ice/dragon. The dragonite and gyrados are killed easily with lightening too.

Gary the champion, well if you beat him the many times before, his pokemon are just more leveled then previous encounters.

I started a new game of Pokemon Yellow today. I've got:

Pikachu (level 27)
Ivysaur (level 19)
Charmeleon (level 24)
Pidgeotto (level 23)
Gyarados (level 35)

updated...

Do you have the emulator on 2x speed (or whatever), or do you just have a lot of time on your hands? Regardless, is there a particular way to speed up the game (as in make Ash walk faster, battle faster, etc)?
