<p>Sophocles, thanks for sharing the Wingate web coupon. I just called and got the $77.77 coupon rate for orientation and August OA move in. Not as good as Momoffour’s $41, but not bad.
I’ll be canceling my Marriott Courtyard reservation which was twice as much!</p>

<p>Just an FYI, but the Ambassador Inn and Suites in Tuscaloosa has great rates ($65 a night or less) for orientation dates and for move in weekend. The hotel is only a year or so old and it gets great reviews on tripadvisor and other sites. I stayed there during a football weekend last fall and it’s great. </p>

<p>The hotel is located on Skyland Blvd halfway between McFarland and 359. Here’s their website if anyone wants to check their rates.

<p>For those who might not have found out, yet, Capstone does have a ‘stay 10 nights, get the next free’ program for parents. You have to sign up for it but the cashier handed me the form when we visited last month. It does help :)</p>

<p>Good to know - that sounds like a deal. Capstone was already booked for the days we needed - I’m guessing they book up fast for orientation & move in days. They’re already booked for parents weekend, as well.</p>
