Yes, the best president is the 11th, James Polk. My history teacher told us to use him for college essays, because the usuals are cited too often.

TAFT. no contest.

Jefferson, Jackson, Cleveland, Coolidge, Harding.

Ronald Reagan.

Of the 20th-century, Bill Clinton, FDR, Reagan

Of all time, probably Washington, FDR, Clinton

Jefferson!

George Dubbuya Bush!
Jk. :)
Sorry if I stopped anyone's heart.
Hmm I like Washington, Reagan, Lincoln, and Jefferson.

FDR is overrated.
I like Jefferson, Reagan, and Lincoln of course.

Polk is kinda like Bush, but he won wars. I don't like Polk.
Clinton was good but he wasn't so great on foreign politics and his economic success was enhanced by the period in which he was president.

So, Lincoln gets my vote.

Jefferson.

Andrew Jackson

Teddy Roosevelt

Ronald Reagan

My favorite president was BILL CLINTON. That man was amazing, and people actually had jobs when he was in office. I've actually seen him in person, and he's pretty charismatic and intelligent. Also, I could care less about the whole Lewinsky thing because that's between him, Lewinsky, and his wife Hillary. That was his personal life.

Clintons first term was legit no doubt...there were things in the 2nd term that I disagree with...especially after reading dereliction of duty.

I dont like the idea of presidents that are still alive being the best though.

Frankly I am dissapointed...not one mention of Warren G. Harding :)

George Bush II. Esquire.

Reasons:

His record in Wars is 3-0. War in Afghanistan, turned it into a fledging democracy with a stable economy of selling opium. War in Iraq, turned it into a stable country and solved centuries of sectarian division in the country. War on Terror, completely turned middle east into a stable region of the world.
He managed to reign in spending in both his terms. Reduced the deficit and continued paying off the National Debt.
Illegal Immigration, eliminated.
His environmental policies practically brought us back from ecological destruction.
Reputation as the "Science" President. Forged new paths during his administration in areas such stem cell research and very influential in promoting Intelligent Design.

I am going to hope, pray, that that was sarcasm...

Yeah GinPA, I really think it is, but in case he's being serious, it's time to call the feds; PCP is on the loose!

Why, Rutherford B. Hayes, of course.

how was reagan one of the worst?

And I dont blame too much of what happened in Hoover's administration on him, but mainly on his predecessors. Hoover did a lot to try and combat what happened, it just wasnt the right stuff...which, apparently fdr had.

Harding, Grant, Carter are my top three for worst prez

Harding was on my top 5 list, so...
