My regional director has become the basis of jokes at my school.

"85 on a bio test? Kirk doesn't like that"

"WWKD. WHAT WOULD KIRK DO"

"You don't care how you do on the SAT II's? Kirk does."

I agree. HS this year is just damn boring...nothing seem to instigate any kind of excitement from my brain...maybe i'm getting too old for this HS stuff (that's why I need college! CoLLEGE!!!). THe only classes I like are BC and Chem...the others are just like mush...

yeah did you guys know that penn has a program that they put your sat scores in and calculate your predicted freshman year GPA? my prof worked in the admissions office and told me about it.

Whoa...that's scary. I dunno. I know a kid that had 1560 and is now, failing out of Princeton....FAILING OUT OF P'TON! I didn't even think that was possible.

I hate when I'm walking through my school and everyones so young.

I'm a man amist a sea of boys. lol.

ahh yeah bc calc is my favorite class even tho ive spent seven hours some nights doing math hw. because it is that impossible and we got the teacher who had never taught a calc class before, let alone like the highest one offered at our school

I heard that Princeton made it so you couldn't fail out....

it looks bad on their admissions process if kids fail out...

funny how ive never heard of anyone failing out of penn... i have heard of people failing out of princeton, like from Friends Central, and now princeton has blacklisted their school. sucks for them

Well, he is failing out...that's why I was like, "Are you serious?"

He never wanted to go to Pton. The only reason he gone to Pton was his Chinese parents wanted the name...so sad. He got into Stanford, Penn, Chicago, Harvard, Pton, Yale, Def. Something else....

being blacklisted must suck. A LOT.

lol. shorty i'm from North Jersey and love it.

that's what happened to that girl who got into Virginia...the other day our very difficult AP Bio teacher was like "Be careful with those micropipeters, I had to sell my soul to the board of ed to get them!" and she was like "well THAT explains a lot..." lol

wow. i would NEVER let my parents dictate what school i went to. but they are the most pessimistic people in the world. theyre begging me to apply to penn state bc they think i have no chance anywhere, which is awesome. i went to see my teacher the other day to get forms for other schools, who wrote rec's for all three penn EDers, and she was like "you mean u havent gotten into penn yet?" so that must be a good sign.

my parents let me do what i want with everything. which can be both good and bad.

like they never really encouraged me to do well in school my motivation had to come from within.

well i don't want to go to school far away, but i keep getting scared that i'll get rejected from everywhere besides, like, Cornell, NYU and Rutgers...in which case I'll want to go to Cornell SO BAD...but then i asked my parents if they'd let me go there instead of NYU, and they were like "Without question. we want you to get the best education." so that was nice lol

i lost all motivation for school a while back..... in kindergarten

blh. my grades plain suck

lol i'm kinda praying that i get in b/c my 1st term grades are good but this marking period, bio is suffering really badly lol...i just don't care at all about those stupid writeups anymore

i stopped working hard after sophomore year. junior year i was involved in a sport pretty much the whole time.....

and I applied ED to take off this year. lol

yeah me and my group of friends, who are all in the top 5% basically, really were not very creative with our college choices. we applied to the same exact schools regular and tried to vary our earlies (which didnt happen for penn dammit) so were basically all applying to cornell, brown, duke, stanford, columbia, and a few harvard. harvard sent me their app about four times but i just dont like the vibes of that place

My parents are what they call an aberration in nature when it comes to Asian parents. They care, but just enough to care about ME and less about my grades and stuff. It's awesome. They never even asked about where I am applying and just handed me a credit card...whoohoo!

High school is just boring now. BORING.

me too shorty

LOL choco. you so funny.

yeah all the GR kids all end up applying to the same places...and all end up at Rutgers. woohoo...NOT.
