Who will you spend this summer?

How is everyone going to spend their last summer before going to JHU? I'm working on getting an internship, and may end up taking a class at UCLA for credit or something along those lines.

I'm taking an EMT-B class plus a lot of certification classes, all rolled up into a "super" class. Also working at Bed, Bath + Beyond, assuming I can make my shifts line up. Lots of time in the sun and water, enjoying spending time with my friends before we all disperse for next year!

Via, that is so freakin' awesome with the EMT thing!!! AGH! envy
I'm taking classes at JHU this summer to get more acquainted with the place because I have no flippin' clue what the east coast is like! I hope I'll have a good time. Can anyone vouch for summer-jhu-goodness?

I can! You're going to have a fantabulous time ! :)
I'll see you up there at some point I hope!

i am going to INDIA!!! woot!

I think I'll be working a minimum wage job all summer. lol, that hardly measures up.

Yeah I envy silver4 and her EMT Classes...

I'll be spending a few weeks in Israel this summer. :)

I was thinking about doing that but then realized I'll be there long enough next year :) Might as well spend some more time at home, work on padding the resume a little (please, get this internship! heh).

And about Israel -- going with a program or just visiting, etc.? I've never been but some of my friends were recently and loved it.

ahh. I was way over the deadline for any internships in the area this summer. But good luck to you Conchis.

Going with my school :)

I'm going to the Philippines for a month (for missions). And . . . just basically traveling around the U.S. visiting family. This will be the first summer I will not be taking college courses-- I really wanted to go to JHU and test their summer sessions (I kind of miss studying-- or just being productive) . . . but I think I'll be busy enough. I haven't even visited B-more yet though! Ehk.

China for a week in July.

in between now and orientation, i'll just relax and take a breather.
