Who won Field Day?

I guess this was a big event for the Cadets, so it would be great to hear some news about it.

I don’t know anything about the field day activities themselves, but the PTWOB demo went well.

DEMONS!!!

we dominated. it was a great morning

finally… we shoulda won last year, but everyone else cheated :)

glad the demo went well. i saw the twotter flyin around this morning and thought about those guys… how jealous i am of them really. lol

Yay!!! Never underestimate the power of demons… proud demon father and mother here, wait that doesn’t sound right but you know what I mean

Thanks for the update!

we had 480 points, cobras had 440, and hellcats and jaguars were both close as well. demons were quite motivated though and did great.

aha, we beat you last year, hneedle
high flying tigers for life!

So who was best overall?
Go Jaguars! :)

for overall Outstanding Squadron? it hasn’t been announced, but Demons have been ranked pretty good so far, but i’ll let ya know if i here official word

it’s all about the barbarians :(

no one likes the barbarians

and i always love when the chant starts up: “tigers don’t fly!”

My BCT was the first time the same squad got outstanding squad for 1st AND 2nd BCT. Big Bad Barbarians :)

see, its all about the barbarians ;)

Unless I didn’t follow the webguy video correctly Guts won field day. By the way, what is the phrase the Basics sound off with after their class year is said?

2013, best to be seen!

but, they never say that… going into/out of mitch’s at least. we always screamed our class motto. they’re yelling their squadron greetings… hmm

Dadandgrad, you do follow incorrectly to an extent

Guts got the award for winning intramurals, so they recieved a banner for their guidon. however, Demons won field day, and if you follow pictures further they too got a banner for their guidon.

According to the webguy videos, it shows them going into Mitch’s waving their caps and chanting their class motto (“2013, Best to be Seen”) then Webguy explains after they have eaten, and squadrons are forming up outside, they are yelling their squadron mottos (ie, Interceptors: “Check Six”) to guide (through hearing) the basics to form up in the correct place, in order to prevent basics “gazing” to find their squadrons.
