Which has a better chance? One, both, or neither?

Both have a good chance. The athlete will always have an advantage imo. plus valedictorian and student body prez? that’s pretty solid.

I say it’s a wash and impossible to predict. Less “qualified” people have been admitted and “better” people have been rejected.

Based on the information given, I can’t really make a choice. At first glance, the first choice has better academics, and is an athlete. But maybe the other person has some sort of excellent EC that is not apparent. Since the information you give is mostly general, I can’t make a good call.

But if I had to choose, based on what you’ve given, I’d say option one.

one. you know why? recruited athlete. says it all

but both have a great chance

1. It’s called a hook and this profile has it.

Maybe you’ll both be accepted, lol. I had to Gtown acceptees from my school last year.

^ whoops - I can’t edit, but I meant “two,” not “to.” Typo :(

2008 Graduating Class was 125 (127). According to son’s school’s naviance website, 11 applied, six were admitted and four matriculated.
