WHOA...i actually got an email...UGH

They sent me an email...said they're missing both my teacher recs...and a portion of my finaid...this is crazy....

what do i do? cry? heh...

have you checked with the teachers? did they make copies of your rec? if so, send another one ASAP.

but don't despair, the fact that they are sending you an email means that they are giving you a chance to submit everything they need, and as long as you are responsive to this email, things should be fine

yeah, thanx yu shi -

i asked teacher A to email the rec directly to me so i can fax it...LOL...so much for that waiver i signed...

Teacher B actually called Columbia 11/1 and she's SURE that they received it. The reason she called is because she sent in the actual form separate from the rec...heh...so she thinks they just havent been able to put the two together yet....

what are the chances that they're both still somewhere in some pile in the admissions office?

also, my mom sent in her noncustodial part ..postmarked 11/12, how long does it take for them to receive it?

i trust that the teacher recs will work out, from what you are saying.

as for the non-custodial parents statment, you sent it on the 12th, a friday. with the weekend and the slow NY postal system, it probably didn't get to columbia until the 16th or 17th, and then they need about 4 or 5 days to process it. so I wouldn't worry about that either.

things will be fine.
