WHOA! I made a mistake on my app. Should I correct it? HELP!

I just found out that I made a mistake on all of my applications.

When I listed my leadership extracurricular activities and put the years, I wrote:

National Honor Society - President (2004-2005)
Student Council - Treasurer (2004-2005)

The problem is that I put 2004-2005 instead of 2005-2006.

Is this a big deal? Do I even need to correct it? How should I go about fixing it?

I don't think it's a big deal but for the sake of accuracy I would send them all a brief letter explaining you made an error. They will appreciate your honesty.

thanks for the advice. should I send an email (since it would be faster) or send a mail letter?

I guess I would send a letter because it is more likely to get put into your file. If you have access to a fax, that is one way to make it quicker.

Don't send them anything. Admissions offices are already busy trying to put everything together and something minor like this will only take time away from it.
