Whoa, REALLy Urgent

I just got my PIN a couple of hours ago, and evidently Cornell has received neither of my teacher recs. One of them sent it out two days ago, so hers is probably fine, but my other teacher sent it out like two to three weeks ago. I haven't been able to get a hold of that teacher today (she will be home in an hour or so), but I'm going to ask her to write one and send it postmarked tomorrow (Nov1st, argh). I feel terrible doing this to her. But anyway, does anyone know what the procedures are for this if this doesn't work out? Would they like... have my teacher fax it over if it doesn't reach Cornell? Whatever, I'm calling Cornell tomorrow to ask, but I just need to let out a little bit of my anxiety.

It does say to have rec letters addressed to:

Undergraduate Admissions
Application Processing Center
East Hill Plaza
349 Pine Tree Road
Ithaca, NY 14850-2899

right?

Don't stress about this. Teacher recs often arrive later than the application and colleges don't penalize the student when this happens. It is possible that Cornell has been overwhelmed with paper for the past two weeks and hasn't gotten through everything yet. You can try to call the admissions office (not sure how easy it is to get through at this time of year) to ask whether they want you to wait until they have a chance to look for it or have the teacher fax or mail another copy of the recommendation.

Yeah, I feel better about it now. My friend already had to do that with three rec letters for MIT : o
