WHOA Status Update Acceptance??!

JTM, did you apply for FA or is that merit-based?

yeah, im in!!! and with money too!!

Got in, with a full ride

=D

For wickedsmahht, JTM was probably talking about a merit-based scholarship

CONGRATULATIONS accepted RDers. I love that we're not EDers or RDers anymore... we're all just OWLS! :) :) :)

did anyone else get the message on the app status that their housing fee or something was waived?

Anyone else's financial info say

"Information as of:"

Its just cut off after that.

Congrats to everyone who got in!

mine does

****ing rejected

Wicked, it's merit. It says Trustee Scholarship. I'm guessing that is the Trustee Distinguished Scholarship? hopefully

omg this decision came out of nowhere. they really need to tell us
but yay i got accepted :DDD

Rice really needed to get decisions in because of Owl Days haha.

Does that mean that if I were to get any merit based money it would be on the website already? (I didn't apply for any FA)

xingster23:
i got that message, and it says accept, decline, or decide later
is this for enrollment or to just accept that offer
i know i want to go there i just need to look at the fin aid before i decide lol

@JTM

i got it too.. its renewable :)
Financial Aid at Rice University

Are any of you Sheperd School of Music applicants? Son's is still "under review." Thanks!

Whoa - no status change for my S - maybe he's in the very last wave of rejections, or maybe the Music School kids get notified later? At Univ. Miami the Frost School of Music notifications go out more than a week after all the other RDers get notified.

waitlisted...again. well, at least i haven't received any rejection letters yet.

i got a trustee scholarship too but its not quite the amount it says in the link...(actually about half) is it still renewable

Did anyone who did NOT apply for need-based financial aid receive a merit-based award?
