<p>I think there are two. Mine said priority financial aid waitlist, but my friend had a regular waitlist letter.</p>

<p>After careful consideration of your application, the Admission Committee has decided to offer you a place on our Priority Wait List. While we are excited by the possibility of having you join our community, due to budget limitations, we are unable to offer you a financial aid award. You clearly have earned a spot at Choate, and the decision to put you on our Wait List was simply a financial one.</p>
<p>We are sorry to put your decision on hold and hope that we will ultimately be able to offer you admission to Choate with financial aid. Please call the Admission Office by March 19, 2010 to confirm that you would like to remain on the Priority Wait List. While it is difficult for us to predict the outcome of this process, we should have information by April 9, 2010.</p>

<p>wickedcrazy, did you need a lot of financial aid? cuz i did and i think that’s one of the reasons why they put me on waitlist</p>

<p>Oh and don’t get discouraged, everysmile. I don’t think one waitlist is superior to another. If a non-FA student declines admission, they will probably take someone off the regular waitlist. What I wonder is, did people who need FA land on the regular waitlist?</p>

<p>We need major financial aid and we were placed on the wait list and it didn’t mention anything about FA.</p>
<p>Guys don’t worry on the day of decisions it said I was waitlisted. Then the financial aid called again and said send in blah blah. Two hours later full fa. I think I’ll end up at xhoate or andover</p>
