Yeah! Who's excited?

I just want to get this over with. ):

I don't know about excited. After my UCLA rejection, I'm actually afraid to check my e-mail incessantly. I hope UCB doesn't make me cry like UCLA.

Always hope for the worst and you wont be disappointed

apathy works too.

Don't be so down everyone!
One step closer to college.
No matter who accepts you, the school doesn't define you.
Plus, I think UCLA rejects have a better chance at admission to UCB?

oh god. i wished i applied to UCLA to see where i stand. i have no clue whether or not i'm going to get accepted ><

apathy works. but it's hard to be apathetic about it when i'm in this forum ><

I'm excited, but I have already told myself if I'm rejected, UCSD BioE program is better, but if accepted, I'll go to UCB because it's farther away from home. Plus, I have friends over there already <3.

"Plus, I think UCLA rejects have a better chance at admission to UCB?"

-Really? Isn't it the other way around.

blackberry - I really want this over with already, I'd like to cross out UCB from my list...

"Plus, I think UCLA rejects have a better chance at admission to UCB?"

??
Think again.
Just because you saw many who only get into one between UCB and UCLA, that doesn't justify your statement.
There are far more people who got rejected from BOTH LA and B.
IMO, I think people who got into UCLA have a better chance at UCB

/\
That does make more sense...

Gosh, I hate waiting more than ever right now.....

I echo nooob's sentiments

sigh

Haha, it's funny how that's exactly how I felt one year ago.

^
for sure lol.

I see more kids getting into B than LA though from areas around where I live anyways. LA seems to be a little more selective than B, although the stats (whatever they may be now) don't show it. And LA seemingly chooses from a variety of grades too not just the top ones. I know two girls who got in with average grades with only a few AP courses out of the many offered by my school, but were just really legit at sports. (It wasn't a sports scholarship either, just regular acceptance)

But yeah, if you had gotten into LA, your chances of B would be higher.

Really? I don't get that. Since UCLA admissions already came out and all UCs can look at which schools you've gotten into to, why would UCB accept a lot of students from UCLA when they're both obviously one of the top UCs and students can only choose one? It would make more sense to me to see UCB accept more UCLA rejects, the qualified ones that were rejected. I'm sure there were plenty of students who were rejected from UCLA that should've gotten in, but there were just too many numbers. So maybe UCB would accept them.

@youknowittttt:

Yeah, that's my thoughts too.

There's no selection other than that the each UC has different qualifications for the types of students they want in their school.
