<p>=) im definately going to uci lol i chose it over ucr and ucsb. i just came back from the ucr host night and tour and it was so horrible i went home and accepted my sir for uci rite away lol. so who will i be seeing at orientation? hehe</p>
<p>i havent decided yet. i live in norcal, but i'm leaning towards irvine as opposed to davis.</p>
<p>I sent in my SIR. I've been touring that campus like crazy and I'm going on the 21st to that "Explore UCI" thing.</p>
<p>turned in my SIR yesterday and i influenced 2 of my friends to do so also. WOO OFFICIALLY AN ANTEATER</p>

<p>Turned my SIR in last month, I've only seen the campus through pics and happy with feedback from forums. When I first applied i had no idea what UCI was about! probably wont go for SPOP caz it will be $500 for me. So ill see you all in mid Sept!</p>

<p>$100 went out of my pocket the day I was accepted (mid-March). I already paid my housing app processing fee too.</p>

<p>I'm not going to lie, I'm pretty freaking excited.</p>
<p>me me me :] I'm very excited. I was deciding between Irvine, Davis, and Santa Barbara; but it was an easy decision.</p>
<p>ahh a mere five years ago, UCs didn't have that $100 unrefundable SIR fee. darn California budget cuts</p>
<p>The $100 is just a deposit though, when you pay your fees when you start at UCI, it'll be $100 less than it normally would be. So you're not actually losing anything.</p>
<p>I sent in my SIR a couple of weeks ago and turned down UCSD... i'm having 2nd thoughts... but i'm pretty sure I made the right decision. The only thing that I would have gone to SD for would have been the location and who am i kidding... Irvine is really nice! I'm like 95% sure that I did the right thing.</p>
<p>i'm stuck between sd and i; going through what amiradaprincess went through. i'm going to visit the both campus soon so i won't get it in until the 21st the earliest. i hope i don't get stuck with crappy dorms!</p>

<p>It's not a first come, first served thing with the dorms. They wait until the deadline passes before assigning stuff.</p>
<p>i accepted my SIP (statement to participate) because i am a winter 07 student! i decided to go to UCI over USF. So after 1 quarter at a cc, see you all in the winter! :)</p>
