I applied to UConn and got into their honors program. I also applied to UMich, but their decision comes out 2 weeks after Penn, so hopefully I’ll be withdrawing that one…

Just think about all the late nights, A’s that you’ve miraculously pulled off, bad grades that you’ve somehow saved yourself from, and that you’re done with worrying about all that, and I’m sure you’ll break a tear.

@laodicean… AMEN! :)

@EmPaige21: Saw your reason for editing your last post. Chuckled (in a good way) a little. I applied to U of I at Urbana Champaign under priority admission, which comes out the week after (Dec 16).

@laodicean: Agreeed! Especially the late nights part. Haha.

Speaking of late nights, tonight is going to be another one because I put off all my Thanksgiving break work until today…

@EmPaige, for some reason I thought it was 5pm but that’s good cause 2 less hours of waiting now! And I’ll probably fail my driving test cause I can’t parallel park, but as long as I get into Penn, it’ll still be the best day ever.

@levinel:
- Scream and start running around my house excitedly
- Tell my family and friends
- FB post
- CC post
- Go to the Melting Pot to celebrate
- Drive to Penn and buy every sweatshirt in the bookstore (I was actually up there about a month ago and spent all afternoon going through the bookstore drooling from seeing all the BEAUTIFUL Penn apparel)

Oh and I had three dreams last night about Penn. First I was sitting on the steps crying and flipping out cause it was a half hour before Penn was releasing decisions and I was so nervous. Then I woke up, fell back asleep and dreamt I got in. Then same thing but I dreamt I didn’t get in this time. Anyone else have crazy Penn dreams?

In class with wifi on Friday. Sort of tempted to check on my laptop but I think I’ll wait until I get home =p

@straciatella
I have Penn dreams too! And I get rejected in every single one of them :(.
I had a dream I actually DID buy every sweatshirt in the bookstore and then didn’t get in.

The last couple nights have been roughhhhh hahaha.

@straciatella - I was doing the exact same thing when I visited Penn over the summer too! But I must say…their apparel is pretty expensive so I only got a simple white t-shirt on clearance for 15 bucks. The material is actually pretty good, unlike that of the Harvard shirt I bought two days later. Penn’s the real deal 'nuf said.

Guys, when we all log on 3pmEST or whenever decisions are out- the portal or whatever decision website wont jam because of traffic/overload yeah? (Which makes waiting even longerr or the whole “try again later” BS)

Huck farvard!

Guys we need to surpass Harvard in ED/EA thread posts!

So, did you guys get anything cool on Black Friday? Hopefully none of you were pepper sprayed by crazy lady.

@straciaella I totally thought 5pm, as well. But when I went to look at past threads, Penn seems to stick to 3pm.

And I wouldn’t let myself buy any apparel out of fear that it would serve as a looming reminder of what didn’t happen :(

On Black Friday, I bought dorm wear. I bought this absolutely stunning tree wall decal. (I’m obsessed with trees…) And I bought a vintage Indian rug. I know I’m disgustingly obsessed with college… don’t judge me.

@empaige
That actually sounds awesome. I laughed a little at the way you said you’re obsessed with trees hahaha. I’m so obsessed with college…I need to get out of this place!!!

True, true. I might throw away the t-shirt then if it ends up bothering me after d-day.
I’m obsessed with Hello Kitty, and I can’t wait to decorate my dorm with that theme. Hopefully, my future roommate won’t mind =p

Oh my god, I can’t wait to meet my roomie and coordinate our room (hopefully on the Quad or at Hill)

u guys r such cute & nice ppl =)))
we have a WAYYY more positive energy than other schools’ threads
hehehehehe

WHAT IF OUR FUTURE ROOMMATES ARE ON THIS THREAD!?!!
I literally just squealed of excitement.

This is making me even more emotionally invested in Penn.
And I agree, I want to live in a Quad (as in, with three others)… in the Quad. ;)

I keep on imagining what move-in day will be like…I JUST WANNA KNOW REAL BADLY ahhhh

I hope the Penn adcoms are checking this forum a lot so they can see how much we LOVE PENN!!!
