<p>not many first years know Brown is an artsy place, they are too lazy to type in the URL and download the application.
after the school begins, more and more people will realize that Brown is for the "creative" kids, and plus u have to make a decision on where you wanna live and whom to live with next year shortly after school begins, kids who can't find a best friend (as apartment-mate) quickly enough would apply for brown like crazy.......</p>
<p>however, there're more upperclassmen in Brown, and only 30 freshmen, so it evens out...</p>
