So i’ve been following the RD Results thread and i can’t help but to imagine that we’ll be going through this process soon…thoughts?

I am freaking out how some of them got denied :‘(… I hope i don’t get denied!! :’(… I want to be in Cornell!!! lol. I wish they released our decision also!! :-p!! haha Good luck to the admission committee in making the right choices!!:). At the same time i wish everyone here good luck also!!

Yeah, I don’t know what you guys think, but just because I’m gonna need a chunk of aid, feels like I’ve already been rejected. Am I the only one obsessed over this or do you guys feel just a tad more depressed too?

I have faith in Cornell being need blind. It better come through.

zirtico,

i’m in the same boat, i’m going to need a lot of aid if i were admitted, but i don’t think it should worry us. Cornell widely states that they practice a “need-blind” admissions process (they do not consider your ability to pay for school when determining your admissions decision). Also, I was always told that FINAID and Admissions are run separately.

Very depressed right now.

Why are you depressed?

Well it makes me feel better that you guys all think that it’ll be alright and that Cornell really IS need-blind. But then again, have we all been fooled? I don’t know, was just depressed to think that my aid requirements ruined all the work and time I spent into building my application. I think I have a shot and to have that ruined because of something out of my control was what was really frustrating. That’s all. I just want my decision right now.

How do you tell what the requirements are for your major?

^- look at the college’s website/department in which you are applying for. I really do think that Cornell is need-blind base.

base on what u see on the cornell acceptance freshman page, do u think it will affect us transfer students that are non-GT?

Hey, anyone willing to read my essays and rec. letter I was sent to sort of chance them?

Listen man, I really do understand how nerve-wrecking things are right now. I really hope you make it, but in the meanwhile, you absolutely need to let go. No point of chancing you now, just let it be. It’s just a few more weeks.

Are we seriously getting our decisions in mid-April like the status website says? That’d be rather wicked.

^— no only the GT’s. I dont know whyh they said we will. The Non-GT’s will get the decisions end of april till like early june.

Haha, viola, I don’t want to be chanced because it’s nerve-racking, just that I’ve posted a few places way earlier but I haven’t received a single chancing so that’s why I was asking. Yeah anyway, cya.

So no one else here is applying for Cornell’s CALS biological science major? Only me? I have not seen any other transfer applying for the same college and major as me.

I’m applying to CALS, but as a food science major.

are you an agreement with CALS?

WHY DOES MY PROFILE on the cornell admissions thing say “APPLICATION NOT SUBMITTED?!?!”

WTTTFFF!! Im freaking out right now!
