i can’t wait until i get my decision…

At least you guys dont have to take a summer course over the summer haha… i have to take Bio II w/ lab over the summer… Monday to friday from 9 to 10:30 (lecture) and monday to friday from 10:50 to 1:30 (lab)… thats insane… haha… at least its only one class haha… at least its only one month… may 21 to june 30th…

so jaimetransfer, any news today?

i have to take a summer class and may even take two. i am dropping that english class that bites; after reporting the professor to the dean.

now i have to take the english class instead of summer relaxation.

for sure, dragon. let’s hope so!
don’t worry about summer courses. they are a breeze. (atleast when i took them haha)

ilivefree contact the college and tell them u r takign a summer course. So inform them about ur progress :)…

Remy i hope so… haha… its just a pain in the butt… I mean after my summer course it is all relaxation for me and getting ready for cornell university :)

yo, to those interested, i called ILR and the lady gave me sass when i asked if all the decisions were released… she said “only some were released today, they have till the end of the month…”

so there ya gooo… i guess she had a right to be sassy, i was a little rude on the phone, not on purpose tho…only cause i expected an answering machine to pick up rather than a person… haha i was like “Oh! umm uhh… did you guys release the transfer decisions today yet?” lol oh well atleast she didnt know my name :P

Ok… so i have a random story I think you guys will appreciate!! I am a government major and today I was studying for my comparative politics final. Later this evening, I was browsing through the Cornell website looking for classes that I would like to take next semester. One of the professors at Cornell is the author ( Van de Walle) of the journal article I was studying today for my comparative politics final !! I think it is funny that the material I am learning at my current university is from a professor at Cornell!!! I hope my story makes sense I am exhausted!

BrandNew, go back a page and read my note on the ILR decisions. Expect most after the committee meeting in 2 weeks.

thanks viola, i missed that post… but seriously, 2 WEEKS!!! bull… im gonna call… did you call ian or the regular admissions number? i NEED to know… i have **** due BY may 1st…

Here’s a fun one.

Owned.

dragon, shouldn’t i wait till i know if i’m in to advise them of summer courses? do i also have to report the drop from this semester? i had an A in the class on my mid-term report, but i’m dropping the class tomorrow.

i already read it… Noob… haha… im tire im going to sleep… hehe… night all… i have a long day tommorow 8am to 8 pm classes…

@ilivefree umm… i dont know… haha… just make sure ur summer course will not be full. if u r accepted, u do have to sent in ur final transcript.

BrandNew, again - go see that post. I’ll paste it here for convenience. I spoke to Ian directly.

For the SECOND TIME and everybody that’s missed it…

Post 1302: Alright, ILR people, listen up.

I just spoke to Ian about the decisions sent out today as well as the status updates, etc.

He said that the majority of the decisions sent out today were mainly for GTs, and very few regular transfer applicants. He was very kind to check and tell me that my decision had not been made, so if you want to ask about that, it’s a possibility.

Here’s the important part. He said the majority of the decisions will be made at the main committee meeting two weeks from now, so stay put. No need to freak out and check self service every night - we still have some time to go.

hey brandnew, i called cornell Cals too and i think the lady was kinda ****ed i called too, she had the same exact reaction as the lady from ilr, apparently the online status stuff will be updated on may 1

I think Viola’s point is a good one; everyone should just relax. If you have gotten in already you will receive a letter by the end of the week. Otherwise, it looks like the majority of us will be waiting till early May (thats hows it been in previous years at ILR). The process is totally out of our control.

uhhh viola… not necessary. thanks…

let’s think of a happy place…
like quahog, rhode island…

[YouTube - Family Guy-Can’t Touch Me](http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FDw9y2zFIF8)

So they’re ****ed off now? Cornell should have anticipated this. After all, the self-service update on March 31 said decisions would be available for transfer students by mid April. Now admissions are notifying applicants that it may be into the month of June before we get a response. Who can blame us for being irritated?

i just hope we know by the 30th… if i dont get into cornell, and i lose housing at TCNJ cause everything took so long, i probably wont go to school, so to those who say be patient, sorry, id love to, but i have a lot at stake…
