Who's applying for Fall transfer 09'-Cornell?

and wait, remy_enders r u korean, too???

Laurel, but part of Howard County. y? do u live in MD too?

Yes, xD I’m from Baltimore City :'(… the poor ppl area and the bad area…

Yes, I am. :)

awww but no worries, u’ve got the harbor, which is one of my favorite places in MD
and remy, I never even assumed that u’d be korean! were u born here? I was an international student till 3yrs ago when i finally got my resident status ugh

Yeah, I was born in New York, and raised on Long Island. As a result, my Korean is very weak. I was surprised you picked that up! :)

Amers!! harbor stinks! its polluted with all kinds of junk… haha…

Oh, dragon. I feel your pain for papers.

:'(… I only need to finish writing 2 more peoples for this class and i will be finish… I hope I get good grades on them…

You’ll do great, don’t worry.

haha but u dont know my english professor. he is a real jerk… I admitted I was a Christian and he said “oh your one of THOSE ppl.” sigh. I hope he doesn’t discriminates against me… On an essay we wrote in class about abortion, I did put some religious views but not much… and he wrote on the side, I dont like this…

dragon, ha ha ha… i admitted i voted for ron paul and my professor pulled the same thing (as did the ENTIRE class). “oh, you’re one of THOSE people…”

If he’s a professional, you’ll be fine regardless of personal conflicts.

I have a teacher who hates my guts. She laughed and said “No Way” that I’d get accepted to Cornell when I gave her my midterm report. But as much as we both hate each other, at the end of the day, it doesn’t affect my grade (not noticeably atleast :))

I’ve figured out that is an extremely bad idea to become enemies with a prof. Firstly, the department will side with the professor 99:1 times. Secondly, you lose all the potential bonuses of having a professor who knows you well…

Whatever the professor does…just say “ok”…

I wish I knew that two years ago; I could have avoided a lot of trouble and embarassment.

I do the opposite. I always oppose my teachers, and argue for points or whatever. Teachers that don’t like criticism dislike me though, because I’m relentless in getting even one point that I deserve!

uh my english teacher is not a professional… He does play favors and he uuhh thinks he is always right… He believes that Newton would be able to outsmart him…

dragon, my english teacher is a primo knucklhead too; she makes brash political statements based on emotion and not fact (though it’s a “critical thinking” class) and when i expressed frustration in the class, she accused me of being sexist. even though i’m a woman. ***?

Oops i meant to say that he thinks that Newton would not be able to outsmart him… He also said that he doesn’t believe in math… Like he can’t see how 1 is a number… gosh…

This is one reason I love Cornell… All their professors are professional, experts in their fields, and they do want to teach… :)

he doesn’t believe 1 is a number? he’s read way too much philosophy.

hah my philosophy teacher is anti religion… i get in fights with him all the time and then i rub in his face that i voted for McCain
