NNOO!!! I was hopeing that they won't extend the deadline!

Wait, I just checked... I've heard nothing about the deadline extension THIS year. LAST year, there was an extension.

There's nothing on the website about a deadline extension either. Hmm, oh well...

I mean yeah on the Cornell guess net ID there is nothing on extension. And they said they are committed on reviewing the transfer app. Can you copy and paste your email message to us Zirtico.

Guys, if you call Cornell's admissions you'll hear a recorded message saying that Regular Decision applicants will be able to view their decisions online starting Mar 31, 5pm Eastern time................

And Zirtico, last year they extended the deadlines and they put that on the admissions website, but I haven't seen any changes on the website this year....are you sure about that?

so do you think transfer students are at a disadvantage this year? I hope not!

Guys, let's change the topic a little.

Your single most favorite feature/place at Cornell.

Mine would have to be the Plantations... although the EB White ('Hogwarts') library is a close second.

I've never visited, but from the 99432592093439 hours I've spent "researching" Cornell on Google Images, Flickr, the Cornell website, Picassa, and Facebook, I would say any Gothic dorm on West Campus, Sage Chapel, and Anabel Taylor Hall. I really like the old-world architecture style with pointed arches, buttresses, gargoyles. Definitely something I have yet to see in Texas!

Have you guys seen the videos on youtube from theU? It made me fall in love with Cornell.
Viola, how many schools did you apply to?

FACT: Regular Transfer Admissions Deadline for Fall 2009 is now March 31st

Verified by Admissions Rep this morning on the telephone.

I applied to three, but its really between Cornell and Penn for me... I'll be incredibly happy regardless of which of these I end up in.

I applied to ILR, and I'd kill for a single in the Gothics next year.

I'm going to call admissions now to double check on extension. Also, did everybody know that FinAid stuff was due 3/15? I have to complete mine ASAP.

Alright, I can confirm the deadline extension for the application. I am still trying to figure out if the FA deadline had been extended.

you can call the finaid office and ask about that too.. i assume that if they extended the deadline for applications then they'd have to give the newer applicants a chance to submit their finaid stuff also.

Called finaid. They didn't extend the deadline, but the lady said I won't be penalized if my stuff is just a few days late.

ok thats good. good luck =)

So does that mean the final decision will come out late? Or will it still start at the end of april till mid june? And does this have any effects on transfer students?

The decisions should still be released on time, I hope.

I hope so also, I just want to know if I will get accepted ASAP! Lol. So anyone here going for biological science in CALS?

Dragon, isyour top choice Penn or Cornell?
