<p>east, i think it’s preferred that it’s before, but they’re not going to start reviewing applications for another few weeks, so call up ian and schedule one and you can do it over the phone. i’d call sooner than later though. he’ll just take notes on things you say and then add it to your file once all of the pieces are in.</p>

<p>i have 5/6 grades, all As except 1 A-. i’ll be sending an update with my last grade, and i’m actually really nervous for it. we just had our first test and i don’t know how i did because i was really iffy on a bunch of questions. i’ll hope for the best though.</p>

<p>Ahaha, well, I’ll try for all A’s, but the thing about art professors is if you don’t follow their suggestions/conform to their style, some of them will…smite you with their judgment while grading you. Not that I’m giving myself an excuse to slack, but I don’t think Cornell would really care if I got a B in an art class when I’m not even going into art if I get to transfer. Or would they?</p>

<p>jemma i dont mind. i’m literally doing nothing today - my mom is home sick, my brothers are at school/work, my dad who i dont like is visiting and stole my car, i have a doctors appointment, and i’ll be studying for a test that i have tomorrow, so i’d actually welcome the cornell-related interruption haha. i’ll have to postpone birthday celebrations until at least this weekend, so it’s not a big deal. pm me so i know when to go on google :)</p>

<p>I rec’d my ID today. Everything is in but midterm report. Sent app 9 days ago, my Dean faxed the CO report & mailed it. Sending MT in 2 weeks. What a relief!!</p>

<p>So far my chemistry class is going great. My prof (Dr.) is from Cornell, he was the freshman lab director last year. He’s so engaging and makes it really fun and interesting. He gave me a grace day on my overdue lab report which I’m doing now XDD gotta run up and hand that in tomorrow.</p>
<p>Otherwise, Communications Law is boring, but my teacher is lawyer from the community who doesn’t like grading us much. So pretty easy A class, plus he tells decent stories from law…related…stuff…lol.</p>
<p>Then Psych and Organizational Behavior are interesting, but also easy As. I should be looking good for midterms (which I won’t have for at least two weeks).</p>

<p>i mailed out the last of my stuff today. i was really paranoid and i asked the woman at the post office a million times to show me the date and to make sure things were safe and sound in my envelope hahaha. she clearly hated me, but i’m ridic. oh no, i just realized i forgot to kiss my envelope good luck!!! 
oh well since it’s my birthday, that counts extra, right? (by my logic, it’s going to so i feel better haha)</p>

<p>i’m freaking out. i just went on the commonapp website to review my essays to make sure that they’re perfect. i submitted last week, and all of my parts say “downloaded” but now all of a sudden there is a yellow box next to my supplement and that means that i started it but it’s not complete. a few minutes ago it was a green triangle. what does that mean?! i didn’t do anything except view it, as i already submitted it and i can’t make any changes to it. what should i do???</p>
<p>Ironic, relax it is probably a glitch thats all. keep in mind the traffic on the common app site must be big and maybe it got all weird and glitchy. Did u save the print preview on ur computer?? Look, I just checked mine and it has a yellow square but it says submitted next to it. and I know for a fact that it was submitted. and the payment has the red triangle but again next to it says submitted. Its just temp. glitch. So its all good. Check tomorrow :)</p>
<p>Valvsu, Im applying to Emory and Vassar. I am kind of iffy with Vassar cuz they havent updated their deadline yet but Ill call them next week and see whats up :)</p>

<p>OK, now im freaking!!! I know it may sound dumb but when I sent the submitted the common app, I didnt realize that I couldnt edit it for the other universities im applying too. Crap!! Oh well I’ll just make a new email and start it all over again. I hope that helps :S</p>
<p>I didn’t apply for any other schools, which I"m regretting, because I was thinking I should apply to SUNY Bing just in case (and then realized that I already submitted the common app, which basically had Cornell-specific things written all over it).</p>
