and Ironic, did you happen to be like “Wellll, I know CALS has already sent out decisions… soooooo how about for us?”

Ironic, the number is 607 255 4833
Thanks a bunch, like seriously!! If you want I can harass Humec for you
Call them every few days. Love how we are so resourceful!! lol

hahahaha ok! i’ll let you know when i need a second round of phone calls. next week if no one’s heard anything from them i’ll probably bother you about it hahaha. i’ll try to do it tomorrow, but i have class from 9:30 - 7 pm so if i don’t get a chance to, i will definitely dial their number on thursday

calpoly congrats!

i know you got the acceptance through mail but did the acceptance also show up on your application status check (even though it’s supposed to be down) ?

ironic, ok! thats awesome lol. Whenever you can is fine. Sticking together that’s the key hahaha

Something makes me think we have a lot of people checking this thread who don’t post much…dibs not more transfers than are here already :X lol

I hope all of you receive your acceptances quickly. Obviously from my experience, it is always beneficial to send in your application materials ahead of time… not that this is of much use now. My online portal has not changed at all. I just received a large white envelope with financial aid, housing, and meal plan information enclosed. I am nervous to receive my course evaluation and far more so my financial aid package (which I am definitely relying upon).

It should not be long before you all know. All of the colleges operate differently. Water, I bet you’ll find out really soon.

Antsy as hell =( If they’re going by order of things sent in + CALS is the most prompt, I should be next, although I DID send in my midterm report just last Wednesday, so…

Nyahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.

I’m sending my midterm report out now, lol. So ugh. Still looking at the 15th for me. Unless based on the fact that I got in once, they’ll be doing the decision quickly. Maybe my midterms won’t matter…oy.

well I sent out my midterm report in Sep. 23rd as the final material. Given that CALS gives acceptances first, the next person will be me? although I sent the extra rec letters, which weren’t required for admissions about two weeks ago. hmmm

I’m going to send out mine tomorrow :(

I sent my midterm grades to CALS last week.

RB

Noobs are just coming out from everywhere now, aren’t they?

It’s like they’re coming out of the woodwork, Jesus.

I’d say you and Az, valvsu, will find out next.

Oh so I go to the post office because we had no stamps and our mail came ridiculously early (like 10:30am, ***, i was in the shower), then I get home to find an email from CALS saying ‘all we need is your midterms to finalize the application’. ■■■.

Haha, I responded saying they’d be in their hands by Saturday. And as confirmed, I got a 100 on my three graded assignments this week in Psychology boosting me to a B from that ugly C+. I should have an A- in another two weeks, haha. I attached the note saying my grade has gone up since my prof. signed it and that they can email her to verify.

Everything else looks good…I’m hoping if all they needed to see was that I was being consistent gradewise means good things!

‘all we need is your midterms to finalize the application’

Well I guess that means you’re accepted.

Probably. If you were rejected, they would just be like midterms aren’t going to make a difference at this point, why bother asking…Although perhaps it would be a formality. Who knows. But since you got accepted once you are most likely going to be accepted again =)

I desperately wish I could make that assumption. Valvsu, you were the other Com major right? I forget who it was.

ahhhh all these other applicants!!! at least none of them are for humec haha. or maybe they are and aren’t writing on here? come out and say hi so i can at least know who/what i’m up against. i’m nice, i promise.

that could mean that you’re accepted or that they actually need to finish your folder with midterm grades, though i’m sure it means acceptance in your case. but if other people get it, i think it’s safer to assume that it means that they’re putting your stuff all together.

Well it would be pretty foul for them to say give us your midterm report, but it won’t make a difference because we’re still not going to accept you.

Well if the new guy who just decided to start posting here says he’s CALS and got an email asking for his midterms, then I’d say it’s a formality.

I’m leaning toward formality, but I’m still just as confident as before. Time for the waiting game. Twiddles thumbs…
