Jemma- I got your e-mail. I’ll read your revised essay as soon as I finish with mine. This word limit is killing me. And I don’t think walking SAT-dictionary is a very apt nickname.

And I definitely missed the convo about Lacey’s panties.

BTW AZ, how many sailor scouts were there? I stopped paying attention once they started making scouts for the Jovian planets and all of that stuff. I figured they were going to start making Sailor Io and Sailor Ganymede after a while.

To be honest, I never watched Sailor Moon. I saw one episode when I was a kid and was horrified. Back then I was a Power Rangers/Digimon/Pokemon freak tomboy… Still am inside =D.

I chose Sailor Mars because it’s a well-known costume that’s not too expensive, and I just wanted to try my hand at cosplay. Plus, no wig needed. Hehe.

When I was a kid, pokemon made me uninterested in animals for the most part. I would watch the discovery channel and think “These animals suck. Why can’t they spit fire like charmander.”

And yea, there’s wayy too many pokemon now. I think they have about 450 at the moment. I guess the general plan is to come out with another set of 100 for each new iteration of the game boy.

I think we should all just babble like idiots for a few pages, so if and when a Cornell adcom comes and reads this thread for kicks, they might think they just admitted a bunch of morons

i loveeeeeeeeee Doraemon !!! i don’t know if u guys know it but it’s like the cutest thing EVER !!! urgggg i seriously can’t wait till the decision day…which i don’t even know when but hopefully soooon !!!

Hey guys, Im currently a freshman at another college (19 credits now and 33 credits after freshman year) and thinking of applyin to Cornell ILR School next spring semester, Spring 11’ I guess. I am a noob lol… I would be so appreciative if you experts help me out here =)
I have a question about its requirement classes - I found out that I will be taking economics requirement and science requirement during my first sophmore semester at current college, and then I will be done fulfilling ILR requirement. Can I still aply for the spring term? Am I considered low-preference just because I will be taking those classes wheeras other applicants already took them already? Or its just fine because first soph. semester would also be counted as transferred credits? Should I worry about this at all? lol… thank you guys… - from a n00bie~~

I’m missing a class, but I have a legitimate reason as to why I’m missing one. If I get accepted as a junior, I have one semester plus a summer for me to take any classes I need anyway. Plenty of people here are in progress of finishing up their prereqs. As long as you have them done by the time you transfer, it should be fine. Sometimes they don’t care =D.

@nansungmo: the second thing you said is true, you’d be fine applying for Spring '11 if you’re currently taking the pre-req courses. And yeah, like Az said sometimes they don’t mind a pre-req.

My friend might start complaining soon because he’s planning on reapplying (he got in for this fall as a GT to ILR, but because he wanted nothing to do with law, business, math, etc. and was going into science, he’s thinking of going for CALS) and according to CALS requirements they ask for physics 1/2 to be done before junior year (which like, no Bio major anywhere does.)

But he has upper level bio courses completed, so they’ll probably say ‘Ok, you can just not worry about the physics at the moment’.

Yea, I wouldn’t worry too much about the pre-reqs. I’m applying to ILR for the spring 2010 semester, and I’m currently taking macroecon. I still haven’t taken micro, but Ian said that it won’t hurt my chances and I can just take it at Cornell if I get accepted.
