accmajor, i’m a NYS resident so maybe the mail just got here first?

I live in Providence, the mail delay should only be 1-2 days…
ARGH. Maybe I shouldn’t have changed my contact info from my New York address to my college address.

Getting super impatient. People are getting accepted left and right except for me, Wateradept, and valvsu for CALS. Lol.

RAWR…nothing for me today either! If it’s a rejection I hope it doesn’t come tomorrow, because I have chemistry for seven hours straight tomorrow and coming home from that to see Cornell say nah would just be awful.

But an acceptance would probably send me through the roof! I’m still hoping, congrats gosnia!

Yeah really Az, the hell, hahaha all the new people get in. WE WERE HERE FIRST (kinda.) loll

I’m sure we’ll all know by Saturday…grah!!

I hear ya, water. The noobs have been notified that they have been accepted, and none of the traditional CC ppl on this thread (me, water, Az) has heard anything from Cornell. (except Calpoly)

By Saturday? I hope so…but I mean I live in GA, so I know it takes a couple more days…

nvm guys , It, the packet, arrived (finally!). transferstudent2, ironicallyunsure I’m hoping you both get in ! let’s be positive.

gosnia, i’m a NY resident too; that’s why i was getting worried

So… I was wondering if anyone has received anything from financial aid. I’m waiting to see before I send in my acceptance voucher (required in ten days from when it was sent?). Slightly concerned. I’m calling finAid tomorrow for an extension. Any thoughts? I’m an independent student and it’s like half a month’s rent. I should probably just send it in and not risk loosing my spot. Fingers crossed…

Thanks for the congrats guys. I hope it all works to your favor.

Avie, I already called to inquire about the time limit on the acceptance coupon. You have until ten days from the time you receive your financial aid package to send it in.

I saw online and emailing the Fin Aid office that the financial aid packages will arrived by mid december. It’s a long time from now! i can’t wait… sigh

At least you can check up on housing until then :-] Spend your time browsing dorms to see where you like, haha.

well that’s true lol anybody has references?

West Campus, if you aren’t a freshman. I’ve heard everyone who gets stuck in Cascadilla hates that it’s far away, but they make the best of it. It’s a nice building too, so…not bad.

But Hans Bethe and Becker are where most of the people I met from fall transfers live. I wouldn’t mind living in a gothic either, it’d be neat (as long as it isn’t too cramped).

North Campus would the worst…(watch karma come kill me on this one.)

Well, water is officially living in North Campus

i guess it doesn’t matter where i live because i’ll probably sleep at andy’s every night anyway :-P. or he can sleep in my room. we’ll switch off hehe

yeah i’m totally screwed. they’ll be like 'so…we ran out of rooms…how about the Super 8?.."

awkward much, ironic. lol.

When I brought up the idea of ROTC to the mother she flipped, hahaha. Dad’s a colonel so not sure how he’d take it. Just thinking of how I’m going to pay for grad school…

swim test instructor?

Mmkay. Thanks for clearing that up. hahaha.

lol why is that awkward? pretty sure i’ve talked about him all over the fall and spring threads lol. our 18 month is in a few days
