<p>so i haven’t received an e-mail yet with anything, and i was just browsing the new student website and looking at the housing tab, and so i clicked on the housing link </p>
<p>(housing.cornell.edu)</p>
<p>then on the left I clicked “log into the housing portal” and it brought up the same screen as the one you log into to check your application.</p>
<p>i didn’t think it would work, but i entered my application ID info/pw and it brought me to the housing application portal. maybe if you guys want to see whether you’ve gotten in but haven’t gotten anything in the mail/e-mail wise, you should just try going to that screen and entering your data and seeing if it goes through. Of course, if it doesn’t it could just mean they haven’t reviewed your app yet… </p>

<p>=(…Urgh if they haven’t reviewed my app yet then geeeez. My midterm report was mailed out 2 weeks ago, I wonder how long it takes to process…</p>

<p>Guys, I got “ur session has timed out”… blah! I really don’t think it means ur app hasn’t been reviewed but maybe that is currently being reviewed. We must stop worrying (easier said than done)! I got a feeling that starting next week acceptances and rejections (I hate to even write the word. Hopefully none of us will receive it) will be the thing of the week. This thread will go crazy. Either way I’m still betting I get my decision the third week of November!! I just know it!</p>
<p>I received the same message as jem on that website. I guess we can’t really know what that means, or what “access denied” means as the other person received (actually it might even depend on the browser or something as mundane as that), but man, I really hope we get our decisions soon!</p>
<p>I’m assuming that the “access denied” means that our apps are not finished being reviewed. I am a GT (& have completed all req classes w/A’s) and I received the same message.
Just relax for the weekend. There is nothing we can do to change it at this point!!

<p>and i agree with you water. i mean they are all graded solely by the first exams…no attendance or extra credit…and you have no idea what kind of format they follow and what exactly will be tested…kinda hard to make straight A’s in the beginning</p>

<p>Dunno if anybody mentioned it before but I just checked our fb group and two guys found out they were accepted on Wednesday (CALS). Just thought i should share :)</p>
<p>let me just say. . . i’m addicted to this thread and i’m not even applying to Cornell. (i’m quite happy being a Violet. 
) i’m secretly rooting for everyone here just because i can relate to that feeling of wanting something so much with every bit of your being. for me, it was Washington Square Park and Greenwich Village. my boyfriend regularly regales me with with his stories as a Cornellian. </p>

<p>for those of you wondering if getting access to the housing portal is indicative of your application being read… probably not. the portal is used by continuing and new transfer students to apply for spring housing, so i think they allow us to login even with our app ID’s. i applied for housing today.</p>
<p>waiting on my cornell email… you can’t join their facebook network without it.</p>
