Who's applying?

Is anyone else applying as international?

I am:) and I come from Bulgaria. Where are you from?

Canada....

im applying RD from the philippines :D

Are you guys getting interviews?

no, since there's no interviewer in my area.

I am as well. I'm applying international (Korean) And yes I got an interview, it was my last one of the year so I was slacking (my 10th one...nearly shot myself). But then again it's just an interview, so who knows. Good luck all!

How did you get an interview in Korea?????

no no no. I live in Madison, Wisconsin but I have to apply as an international because I am not a US citizen (nor do I have permanent residency). I am here on an F-1 visa with my father who is a student at UW-Madison.

Hi all,

I'm definitly considering Grinnell, so tell my WHY I should apply?

Also, for someone with a 1570 and a 4.0, can I get a significant amount of merit money (Probably not going to qualify for merit aid, but college will be a huge financial burden)?

i'm going to be applying as a transfer.

i am, too

lianapark-
how did the interview go? did you dress up? are you supposed to bring stuff to show them? was your interview on campus?

Nickelby

Grinnell offers a Trustee's Honors Scholarship which is entirely merit based with a maximum amount of $15,000 per year. If you're a National Merit Finalist, Grinnell offers an additional $2,000 per year.

With a 1570 SAT and 4.0 GPA you have an excellent chance of getting merit aid at Grinnell.

Nickelby, I'd be shocked if they don't give you a very nice merit package. My son has lesser stats - and got decent merit aid - but we know a few people who got $14,000. If you don't get the offer you're hoping for, you might try to negotiate. Also, don't overlook that Grinnell's tuition is less than a lot of east coast LACs to start with - so your merit package will go farther.

do you apply seperately for merit aid?

You have to send in a financial aid form.

Is that just for domestic students?

i am applying RD. I am from India

I am applying RD too...............from Nepal
