<p>which school do you think is better for biology/getting you ready for med school: ucsd or usc and why? both schools seem really similar, but i can't figure out which one is best.</p>
<p>as we've all heard a million times, ucsd is named the "hottest school for science"...</p>
<p>so i'd say it's safe to say ucsd is better for biology</p>
<p>They're actually quite different schools - public vs private, reasonable cost vs high cost (unless you get good fin aid), coastal vs inland, best part of town vs not best part of town, larger class sizes vs smaller class sizes, etc.</p>
<p>UCSD is very highly ranked nationally in the bio area. Both schools can provide a fine undergrad degree for one wishing to go to med school.</p>
