Going but also finalist for a ton of scholarships and stuff at other schools, so i haven’t accepted yet.

Stats: ACT 34, UW/W GPA 4.0/4.4, 6 of 425

Awards: QuestBridge Finalist, NMSF, AP Scholar w/ Distinction, etc

Essays/Recs: Pretty strong. Recs should be great but the essays may or may not be great. We’ll see what the reader thinks.

ECs: Not so hot. Not bad, but I have no concrete leadership positions, no work experience, and I haven’t spent four years on one EC (looks like a lack of dedication, which is wrong but is hard to prove).

Interview: Went really well, but it has like no impact so…

I’m usually against chancing, but if someone asks I won’t decline. But yeah, there’s not that much that makes me stand out and Yale is ridiculously competitive, so I’m already preparing for rejection (even though Yale is easily my first choice).

Congratulations to everyone! I was a Senior last year and I know how anxious this time can be. If you’re looking for someone to talk to, feel free to send me a personal message and we can get in touch.

Otherwise, hope to see you all at Bulldog Days in a few weeks! (sign up, it’s AMAZING!)

I confirmed today! So excited for the fall ![]()
See everyone at BDD

I accepted this morning. Gosh, I’m so scared, but also so excited! Is it normal to have some feelings of trepidation? It’s probably a bit different for me, because I’m heading halfway across the world, leaving my family and friends behind… it was really hard for me to press the accept button for these emotional reasons, but I know that the opportunities for professional and personal growth far exceed what I’d receive here. Yay go bulldogs!
