I finished my application on Christmas Eve. I got my e-mail for an interview shortly after and I had my interview this past Tuesday. As for getting interviews, it really depends on the alumni in your area. If there aren't any, then you might be out of luck. My alumnus said that he was the only one in my area (upstate New York), but if you went south to Albany, there were more than 8 alumni who did interviews. Remeber, the interview isn't a requirement for admission so they can't penalize you if you don't get one. Also, admissions won't even open them until the end of February so there is still time to be contacted.

did you guyz post a photo??? I thought it was a little strange that they did, but they say its because they want to see if they can recognize anyone they might have met before. Also, did columbia ever visit any of your schools?

o btw, i applied to :)

I didn't post a photo cause haven't ever been to columbia... i am pretty sure they came to my school once when I was in 11th grade.. forget which schools came cause only distinctly remember georgetown and brown... but yeah since my school is in Australia I wasn't excpecting much haha

I sent in part I of my app. in November. I didn't send in part II until the due date and a man called asking about an interview two weeks later. I will have to drive two hours to the interview, but I don't think there were a whole lot of applicants in my area (southern Iowa).

me here. had my interview just this afternoon!

Good luck!!! I did early, so now I get to relax! And I hope your interviews are as rewarding as mine was!

i had a phone interview

When do the Regular Decision applicants get their acceptance notifications? I'm excited to meet the rest of my classmates!
