Who's doing what in the summer?

Working a lot, being lazy a lot, coding a little, gaming a lot, and hopefully get a holiday at some point.

summer: time to be lazy and think about what im going to do and then eventually, just go to sleep

girls state, summer residential governor's school for music, visiting my brother in texas

and of course going to the beach and partying

Intern @ UMD Center for Biosystems Research, working @ Starbucks, travelling to Florida and Nigeria, and reading summer assignment for AP Lang next year.

Starting the infamous Plebe Summer at the US Naval Academy

had a nice summer :/

Doing research at Stanford.

looking for a job, taking a summer class, and trying to improve my writing as an english major

thewildflower:
tom petty and the heartbreakers? that bands sweet
i am going on a 2 month trip to europe as well as surfing. also taking 2 computer classes @ the begining of summer.

Supposed to be going to Nigeria, like ebonyqueen15, lol. College Applications, summer assignments, parties (including my Birthday), and a job maybe if it isn't too late.

Man, my summer is pathetic compared to you guys

Nigerians on CC= coolness:)

A steady string a 9 hours shifts for my engineering internship from mid-May to the end of August, and a six-week long evening class.

Vacation? What is that? I think it's been 5 years since I've been on one of those (includes 4 years of not college spring break trips). I guess I figured if I can make money rather than spend money on something that may last one to two weeks, why not skip the vacation. It may be another year before I go on any kind of significant trip. I suppose my lack of needing to go on vacation every year is a good thing, but not necessarily something I wish to continue after I get my degree next May.

Working at Rite Aid (it's like walgreens or CVS for those of you who don't have them), sleeping a lot, hanging out with friends. it should be a good summer, I hope :)

I'm going to the Phillips Academy Andover's summer session.
I also plan to play a lot of table tennis, read some books, and learn Java.

(And possibly finish an application or two, though I think it's relatively unlikely, I'm fairly lazy.)

gov school and then working

i'll be interning in the curatorial division of the nixon library, barcoding textbooks at the school library (so cool, i know), working on summer assignments, working on my next history day project and basically filling in the gaps with as much sleep as humanly possible.

working for peanuts at Albertsons all summer.
plus sleeping in, drawing a whole lot, and seeing shows - Alkaline Trio and Rise Against, anyone?

this is my first summer in three years where I'm not doing summer school, which thrills me immensely

Some of the things I'll be doing:

1.) taking a summer course in math.
2.) Volunteering in a biochem lab at a local college.
3.) SLEEPING and Relaxing
4.) Getting out more (I felt I was a hermit during the school year)
5.) Having a few pool parties (nothing large, just with my friends and family.)

I'm working three jobs (interning at my dad's book publishing co., local library, jewelry store, and MAYBE a pizza place). I'm going to Block Island and Cape Cod with my friend, planning on laughing a lot, finding a random guy, learning a new trick, going skinny dipping, seeing a few bands, in general just having a blast before I go off to UConn in the fall. Class of 2009 baby!!

interning at king & spalding, a corporate law firm
sleeping
