Who's done SOAR?

What'd you think?

I had a lot of fun and thought that it was really worth the trip :)

Yeah, it was fun.

Post which classes you enrolled for:
Math 221
Chem 109
Spanish 204

Total of 14 credits

I'm taking

Calc 221
Econ 101
Psych 202
Bot 240

15 Credits

It's Math 221, not Calc 221.

Sorry for nitpicking, lol.

English 169
English 100
Geog 120 (nothing else to take that wasn't already closed)
Poli Sci 106

13 Credits (i think)

I'm dying to get into a 300-level econ class next semester

hey im going to soar on the 1st and 2nd of Aug, im wondering how hard the placement tests are, cause i have not studied for them at all, also even though im going really late people told me that they hold spots in all classes for all soar timings, is that true, or am i gonna be begging to get into the right classes?

They're rather easy. Don't worry too much about the placement tests.

If you want an idea of their difficulty, though, go here:

http://testing.wisc.edu/contents%20of%20the%20placement%20tests.html

Yeah the placement tests are ridiculously easy. Math is by far the easiest, they don't even get into calculus, it stops in trigonometry.

SOAR was ok; advising was expected for a group of 180 students.

Math 234
Chem 109
Anthro 104
Therapeutic Science 105: Health Care Systems

13 Credits
