<p>All right, so right after I finished the book for my English class in February, I found out they were making a new version of the movie. I loved the book, and I was already excited for a movie, but then I found out LEONARDO DICAPRIO'S IN IT! He's my favorite lol. The trailer came out a couple of days ago, and I can't wait. What are you feelings on this American classic?</p>

<p>Almost there, I agree. He’s attractive, but not the most attractive person out there or anything (which a lot of people seem to think). I still like him, though.</p>

<p>Dicaprio is good looking, but definitely not that attractive. Some girls in my school act as if he’s the hottest guy on the planet. Then, again, this is my personal opinion and that is their opinion.</p>
<p>I do have a thing for Tobey Maguire. He’s the reason spiderman is my favorite superhero.</p>

<p>So, something I noticed in the trailer: is Tobey McGuire short, or is Jordan Baker, the Australian actress, just way too tall? I never imagined Nick to be short in comparison to Jordan lol.</p>

<p>As for the movie, I love that sort of retro vibe (hi username reference). The thing is that GG didn’t work for me: I totally recognize that the language is flawless, but the story itself didn’t grab me. It definitely warrants a re-read though, so I’m not crossing it off entirely.</p>
<p>I read it in AP English Lang and the movie is SO DIFFERENT from how I envisioned it! IT LOOKS AWESOME. </p>
<p>It seems like Jordan Baker is portrayed as so much less… “chill” than she is in the book.</p>
<p>My English class has planned a “coincidental” meeting over Christmas break with our English teacher from this year. We’ll just somehow all end up at the same movie theater around the same time and go to watch the movie. I quite enjoyed the book :)</p>
<p>I am curious if I were to word my feelings about it. First thing I thought when I saw the trailer was: they are making another Great Gatsby movie? Well, I am hoping that it turns out good, but you never know.</p>
