Who's getting any?

Get 8 hours a night. I got like 4-5hrs a night my junior year, deep regrets.

God. I have a terrible cold (which is probably a result of sleep deprivation and stress), and am getting no sleep. I have a chem midterm tomorrow, in addition to the exit exam. I think I failed a math test by making really silly errors because of the sick + tiredness.

Um... can you explain. you're making me worried

i usually get like less than 6 hours of sleep on school nights but on weekends i get like 10-11 hours

Eh... sleep is overrated anyway.

Lol, who else expected to see something different?

I get 7-8 hours on school nights, depending on if it's a late start day or not.

wow i was expecting this thread to actually be about what it was going to be about based on the title.. :D

because we've had some pretty bad threads lately.

I make sure to get at least 8 hours of sleep everyday. This might change considering I'm only in my freshman year of high school.

Junior year sucks, therefore, only about 5-6 hours a night. I can't start homework until like 7ish and then I usually work until around 10 and sometimes to 11.
I have to wake up at 5:30 every morning!!

I usually get 6 hours of sleep a night, which is my own fault because I've gotten so used to doing my homework late that it's hard to break the habit.

There was an article in some magazine stating how we need 8+ hours of sleep. I am constantly sleep deprived and find myself taking naps in the after noon...
I sleep as long as possible pushing the absolute limit to me being on time...
i get up at a 20-10minutes before 7, even though I'm supposed to be getting up a 6...
School starts at 7:00, but classes don't actually begin until 7:20-7:30 (we have 10 minute passing interval for before 1st period)...
I feel so tired but sometimes around 9-12 I just can't go to sleep or I'll not be tired...and read up on it and it seems that around this time of age that is normal...to all of a sudden wake up around 9-12.
I wish they would start school later, let the Kinder gardeners go to school early they all get up before 7:00 on Saturdays anyways...but then some of us might not be able to maintain jobs.

HA HA HA HA. Sleep is for losers.

It's so funny. I used to get sleep, and now I definitely get less. I'm talking I go to sleep at 3 in the morning and wake up at 7. I used to sleep from 11-7, which was so much better.

i get no sleep. period.

For the people (supposedly) pushing under 4-5 hours....damn.

I'm usually up quarter to six, and go to sleep around 11. So almost 7 hours. I'll take it.

i try to sleep whenever i can. i often find myself skipping almost all of my afternoon/school act that i bragged about on my college apps just so i can go home and sleep longer. i usually look bumish at school since i now only allow myself 15 mins to get ready in the morning (and i usually move as slow as possible) in order to catch that 30 mins of sleep i used to waste "getting ready". i do all homework in school (except writing papers which cant be avoided) so i can spend more time at home sleeping/relaxing.

i think i am addicted to sleep.

I've never pulled an all nighter before. The least amount of sleep I've ever gotten was probably an hour. :( I get anywhere from 3-8 hours on a school night. On weekends I make sure I get around 10.

Unfortunately, I don't think many of us are getting much sleep. This year sucks.

APUSH and AP English are the cause of my woes...I'm awake at 3:30 in the morning analyzing Pride and Prejudice when I'd much rather be sleeping in my bed...

CURSE YOU JUNIOR YEAR!!!

On a more serious note, I get a lot of sleep (9-10hrs) during wrestling season because without that much sleep I wouldn't be able to survive. But on average I get anywhere from 5-8 hours of sleep with the occasional all nighter or <3hrs of sleep...

My school starts at 8:20. :) But my jazz band practices a few days a week at 7:15, so I usually just get up at 6:20.

I feel well rested, but I usually only get 6 hours of sleep. But those 6 hours are completely uninterrupted. When you stick to a schedule, you feel a lot better even if you're not getting a lot of sleep. Usually sleeping more (like on the weekends) makes me more tired because it's not in the schedule. I recommend a routine.

neither to both
