Who's Giving You What... (So Far)

So I am glad that I got into UCLA, but they posted my financial aid award and I am a little disappointed. UCLA is giving me $3000 less in gift aid than UCI. I just wanted to check with everyone else and see how your aid packages are turning out. I'll start...

UCI: $23,500
UCLA: $20,500
UCSB: $19,000
UCR: $17,000
UCB: TBD

*** ucla only gave me 15750…

UCD: $14,173.00 (but this is from before I corrected my FAFSA and my EFC lowered by ~2000)
UCLA: $13,896
UCB: TBD, I hope

and UCSD: I don’t know how to access it >:[ It won’t even let me see it until I submit my paperwork, as far as I know.

Ucr: $16,720

UCLA: $20,000 (I hope I qualified for Blue and some other color scholarship which will cover the rest of my expenses)
UCSD: Pending
UCB: Pending

UCLA: 18,500
UCI: 23,000
UCB: 1,000,000 i wish

Weird. My gift aid seems a little low considering I’m an independent student with an EFC around 4300…

@ Matt511 ha ha… “1 million dollars” points pinky to side of mouth

^^haha

ucsd:$19500
ucla: idk
uci: idk
usc: Ln of zero –> infinity lol i would need atleast 3/4th of the tuition (around 40k) to even consider attending

all the UCs I got accepted to: all I want in loans! Alright!

-_-

Ucla: $0
ucsb: ???
Ucsd: ???

where do you check for ucla? on the ursa it only gives me the option to SIR and make some information changes

UCSD 15,000
UCLA 5,000
I’m very disappointed about UCLA FA. I did not expect they would give me that little. Is there any chance UCB will give me more???

UCSC: $30,500 ($25,000 in gift, the rest is a fully subsidized loan)
UCI: about the same as UCSC
UCD: TBD
Cal: TBD

sooo where do i get this information…

@DC you need to sign in and view admission status (i.e. acceptance page) and then click on the link on the left hand side for “New Bruins Website”, then view your “ePAL”

when will this amount be official and not preliminary?

I think once you SIR its official.

As long as all your info checks out you’ll get the amount they initially offered… if they didn’t a whole lotta people would be mighty p i s s e d!

When do we learn about the Blue & Gold program aid?

It says I’m eligible for it but it doesn’t say if I actually got it… So confused…

Are you guys talking about grants only, or grants + loans?
