After a nasty day of rejections
I am now sure that I am going to UCSD
Anyone else coming for sure?

Right Here!

high five. i can't wait. are you up for disproving SD's rep as a socially dead school?

Actually. I hear that its a crazy party school...

its only recently that i heard about the SD = socialy dead crap

most people think ucsd is a crazy party school cuz they are confusing it with sdsu

i'm going too..

and i heard that its so close to sdsu that its considered a party school cuz we can just go over there

yeah sdsu parties are great.

ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh i cant decide. i love california, but me and SD...not such a perfect fit. UCSD or NYU? Im leaning toward NYU becuase of how much more of a social party school it is.

nyu very overrated go to ucsd

You might consider going to college for something more than a party. NYU is considerably colder but in the World's premier city. San Diego nearest thing to perfect weather in the continental United States. Education wise they both have a lot to offer, go where you want.

for undergrad, i'd go with UCSD...financially if not because of anything else.

What do you mean by socially dead? very few parties, nobody talks to each other, and/or low campus activity.

HAHA!

Well... I'm sure there has to be social activitiy everywhere you go. Just find the right group of people.

ANywhere you go.. you're bound ot find some lazy asses

I meant for those areas in comparison to other schools. I know there will be activity in any area with many other poeple esp. other college students.

MetaIV "What do you mean by socially dead? very few parties, nobody talks to each other, and/or low campus activity."

I mean all three. I love cali and want to stay here do badly but UCSD doesnt have much in terms of a gay social life.

I'm not going.............................

k, good job sempitern, read the title of the thread =)

whoops.... sorry

UCSD is a great school and is an up and comer on the national scene
