Anyone planning on rushing this fall? I know the Greek scene isn't huge, but there are definitely some good groups on campus!

I was thinking about pledging but I don't know. I want to see what the Greek life is like when I go to visit first...

The greeks always say pledge even if you're not sure because you'll meet a lot of new people and get tons of free food! GW's greek system is really open. I'm not personally affliated, but I still get to go to most of the events because I have a lot of friends in the system.

I'm looking forward to it. I've met the girls in my mother's group and my aunt's group is colonizing at GW next AY!

Greek life definely getting quite big at GW. If that's your scene, then go for it! I have a lot of friends who pledged and loved it. Plus, maybe you'd get to live in Townhouse Row--and it's a nice place to live... Not my scene tho, but I'm not knocking it.

You can always go through recruitment and drop out during the process. My friend who are already in school say you get your best shot as a freshman. Since recruitment is in the beginning of the fall instead of deferred to spring, incoming freshmen who rush won't have preconceived notions about the groups.
