Who's going to CW?

Hey all! by now i think most Candidates' Weekend packets have been sent out. But before I go all the way to Needham, PA I figure it would be nice just to know some names prior to stepping foot on campus. Personally, I think initial get-to-know-you-small-talk is really nerve wracking and I'm thinking... why not get that awkward stage over with through college confidential!

There are 3 CW dates:
2/19 I
2/26 II
3/05 III

which one are you going to?

(I'm going to the first CW on Feb 19th)

Hey! I also go accepted into CW but I’m scheduled for the 2/26 date. It would be nice to know the statistics of the students who got in like what clubs they were associated in, SATs, etc.

I’m scheduled for 2/26 one as well!

i’m on the 26th too

Congrats guys! I look forward to seeing you all. By the way, Olin is in Needham, MA not PA.

I created a Facebook group for all Olin candidates with events for each Candidate’s Weekend. Everyone here should join the weekend that they were assigned!

oops! lol about the state… my bad!

I’m going for CW 3 on 3/05!

** My son (and husband) are headed to CW1 next weekend. Any hints or “must see” advise from students or parents? **

(Olin seems like it could be a neat school for my math-geek, music-geek son. My major concern will having him determine if the campus is too tiny/limited. He really liked being in a group of 80 dligent, interesting IB students in his year… but there were a few hundred other students in the class too.)

My son and husband had a wonderful time at CW1. They really liked everything they saw. To those in CW2 and CW3 - have fun!

We are in CW3. My son and I are really intrigued and looking forward to seeing Olin in person for the first time.

Well eat your wheaties, especially if you have a long way to travel. My son and husband were exhausted. (They visited other Boston schools too, but Olin is the one that captivated them.) It sounds like there were all sorts of fun events for students and parents. There was also lots of time to talk to Olin staff and parents of exisiting student.
