Who's Going to Riverside?

uh huh... I think they just gave up because we were all hungry =) are you at UCR for the summer? I'm in summer bridge... is Prof. Alvarez new or something? Gotta be one of the most frustrating instructors I've ever encountered in my entire schooling career.

I took a summer class there (French I). I like ucr, it's so gorgeous. People should stop being so ignorant and anti-Riverside/UCR. Hooray for UCR.

haha, I am not at UCR for the summer, well part a 1/3 of it, 1/3 already went to Bear Facts :). I'll be at UCR starting September for Housing Staff training. As for your question/comment on Professor Alvarez, www.ratemyprofessor.com It is THE guide to success!

lol, I'm just kidding with the success part, but it may help you in your further studies here at UCR. As for your question, s/he may or may not. Most likely, s/he is a new professor if they're not listed.

I'm really amazed that more and more people are
1. Excited about going to college and
2. Excited about UCR.

I am a proud UCR graduate Class of 2004 and let me tell you college is definitely what you make of it.

I didn't live on campus my freshmen year (1999) so I pretty much had to join things myself. I was a Bear Facts counselor for three consecutive summers, I was a member of African Americans United in Science (eventually the president my final year) I worked at Student Life (and Leadership) for two years, the Chancellor's Office for about one year, then I joined ASUCR and became the president of that my final year too.

So just understand that you can be as busy or as laid back as you want to be here. It is all what you make of it.

Right now I work on campus and I "plan" to come here in Fall of 2006 for their newly developed MFA program.
