Who's going to/went to their Senior prom?

I don't know if I should go or not. Anyone else with the same problem?

I only really wanted to go with one girl and she was dropping HUGE hints towards me to ask her.

I didnt want to ask too early(December) and apparently that was a mistake because some guy beat me to the punch and asked her yesterday.

I cant really see myself going anymore because I dont want to spend alot of money to go with some random girl and I dont really wanna see the other girl there with her date. Also people say that prom is really overrated and I'm not really a "prom" person if you know what I mean.

So what do you guys think about my situation?

How was your own Prom?

And If you havent had your prom yet, Do you plan on going?

I got invited to a prom at another school my junior year. I wouldn’t have gone to prom had I not been invited (obviously). It was okayy… but prom is definitely not special if it’s not your senior year and it’s not even your school, haha.

Same boat here, I would have originally gone with this one girl, but I broke up with her and have been blocked on facebook for the past year and a half… Not really looking forward to prom either, without a meaningful date I suppose?

Yeah, thats why I will probably just end up skipping it.

My bro went to Mexico for his prom…and had a way better time then his friends.
Lmao xD

But! I’m a superlative, and I can’t miss walking down the red carpet with my friend (who is the girl-counterpart to my superlative), and getting pictures and such!

What? People ask people to prom in December?! I was asked pretty “early” last year: the middle/end of April.

Prom was fun for me last year (as a junior) and I plan to go this year. I’m not really a dancing person, but everyone is just so happy and it’s just so much raw fun, so I really enjoyed myself.

I am definitely planning to go this year, though probably stag. It’s not that bad if you get a group together, you know. I went to our senior fall formal this year even though I’m not really a prom/dance-type-person, if you know what I mean, and I actually was really glad I went even though I had to be prompted into it by my friends…

Although you’re a guy so maybe going in a group is a little weirder for you? But if you get a group with lots of guys AND girls I think it could be really fun!

Yeah, people only go in groups with their dates at my school, not any known staggers really.

Im not socially awkward or anything, I played both Varsity Football and Track all 4 years, I am the fastest person in my school and such, Im going to be a candidate for the “most” athletic award and probably “best” sense of humor, its just that I really wanted to go with this ONE girl and its sort of ruining my experience, not to mention alot of the seniors from last year say it was a waste of money.

Don’t be lame. Just go. It doesn’t matter who you go with because you can grind on any girl at prom.

Im not going by myself lol, cant do it.

lol…

Friends are trying to get me to go to prom. I’m saying **** no. If they do… I promised them I’m bringing a book, a pencil, and working on some work.

You should do it LOL

That would be classic and memorable, especially if your already known for being very studious.

i’m planning to go to prom, regardless of whether or not i get to that season with my current girlfriend.
