Who's got 800 chem?

Who has 800 on chem?

I am thinking of taking it on January since my third SAT2 is korean (although I scored 800. wat a waste).

Can you tell me what prep books you guys used? Is it easy? Is it hard for a non-chemistry person?

I read through the Barron's book, and i used Barrons, PR, and Kaplan for practice tests. I thought it was a lot easier on test day, and i'm sure as long as you put your mind to it, and are dedicated to doing well, you will. Good luck!

is 760 = 800?

kaplan is a good book
mcgraw hill is too it has 5 practice tests, and each are harder than the actual sat2 chem

Barron's is much harder than the real test and is full of information that you won't even need. You should try to find a more succinct book. The only reason I got an 800 is because I've taken much harder chemistry (A Level), so I'm not sure if my advice applies to you.

wesamm.. are u suggesting PR over Barrons for chem SAT2 and any idea bout physics??

I've never seen the pr chem book, but it's probably better than Barron's. The best thing you can do is look through both and choose whichever one seems better. But like I said before, Barron's chem sucks.

pr physics was good, but I can't make any comparisons because it's the only one I've seen. It was very similar to the real test as far as I can remember. The only drawback was that it only had 2 practice tests, so you might want to buy a different book if you want more. I'm pretty sure that all of the Barron's books have 4 tests.

I got a 790
