Whos got kings court?

<p>although I don’t want to be all segragational and whatnot, I’d like to know who else here is living in kings court.</p>

<p>I’ve accepted that I’m living there and I’ll make the best of it, I guess. All my friends are in the quad - I’ll just be over there all the time anyway.</p>

<p>Yeah, so wheres the KC peeps?</p>

<p>Room 107 right here. anyone else first floor?</p>

<p>My sister is in Kings Court 101 this year...she was upset at first, too...but she had a good time...you'll end up liking it</p>

<p>i'm in english.. so i'm wondering... are there a lot of frosh over in english?
i know there's a lot in kings cuz of huntsman and whatnot...</p>

<p>I'm in KC...is there any way you can tell from the room numbers if the person is in KC or EH?</p>

<p>i don't think so because every time she signed me in she had to tell them "Kings Court 101" and write down on the sing-in sheet "KC101."</p>

<p>i think if anyone is in the 500's he/she is definitely in english. KC only has 4 floors, right?</p>

<p>I think you'll end up liking ANY dorm you're in, because you're in it, and you can't change that. Cognitive dissonance isn't nice.</p>

<p>god i probably got a 2 on the psych ap (off topic)</p>

<p>Hehe, it's quite alright!</p>

<p>I was in Kings Court and I continually hated it.</p>

<p>Then again, I got the worst possible room: No sink, and no enormous bay window.</p>

<p>Even then, the place feels very secluded from other Penn frosh. If you want a very secluded place, an oasis of small community calm in the penn madness, Kings Court is great. If you're like me and want to be as immersed in the social scene as possible, do whatever you can to get out.</p>

<p>hi guys,
I was in english last yr, 3rd floor, and simply put, I HAD A BLAST. Ofcourse, that could just e coz my floor and RA were awesome, but its a really fun house as well. for starters, we have the biggest rooms on campus, with sinks (trust me, you'll appreciate not having to walk all the way down the hall to the bathroom to brush your teeth every morning). We have our own dining hall (again, it's nice not to walk over to hill to eat dinner when its freezing outside), and the sense of community is very strong. for those of you who haven't visited, each floor has its own lounge, which is a great place to chill at 3 am when you want to take a break. unlike at the quad, everyone's door is always open, so you never have a bored moment; someone will always come in to chat unless you shut the door. For all the hard core party animals, the quad is just 10 minutes away, and i really liked the fact that the dorm was quiet enough to study in my room. all my friends who lved in the quad had to go to the library to study (and it gets REALLY crowded and noisy before finals), and they hated it; many would come over to my hall and work in our lounge coz it was so quiet.
and yes, it is the typical 'Asian-Indian dorm', actually the second floor had only 1 white person last year, and many are engineers and premeds, but you really enjoy it. i know lots of ppl who hated it at first, really wanted the quad, but then began to really like it. my entire floor is doing community living at a highrise next yr. should prove the pt.</p>

<p>anyway, don't worry about it...it'll be great. sorry if this was too long. hope it helped a little.;)</p>

<p>oh, and just to clear up the questions:</p>

<p>kc is all residential programs. they are stwing, huntsman, biosphere, and pih.</p>

<p>eh has 5 floors, so yes, if you have a 500 room no its eh.</p>

<p>kcs got bay windows but no sinks; eh has sinks but no baywindows.</p>

<p>on your housing asst, it will say either eh or kc; that should tell you.</p>

<p>to get to kc, you have to enter through eh; there's no direct entrance.</p>

<p>the laundry room, tv lounge, and oasis are all on the first floor of eh. so is the library and seminar room.</p>
