There are plenty of other people with much higher stats (especially on the SATs) posting in this thread. Anyways, I truly feel those are a reach for me since though my GPA is fairly solid, it is punctuated by (now) 2 Cs and a smattering of low Bs. UNC is near impossible to get in as an Out of State, and NYU is tough as it is.

alright, I know how feel. I did pretty well on the SAT Reasoning Test and then bombed the SAT IIs...my 530 on math ic isn't going to look good at all...

GPA: 3.5(ish) unweighted, no idea what it is weighted
SAT1:
2180 (700M, 730V, 750W)
SAT2:
US Hist: 590 (it was the last test, I was having a **** day, and basically, it sucked.)
Math: 710
Lit: 720

So yeah, it's basically my GPA that's keeping me out of these schools, but hopefully they'll like my essays (though I haven't actually written the Haverford one yet...)

^ Hehe, thanks guys, just thought it would give all of us "normal" people some hope in college admissions officers, that they actually DO look at the ENTIRE applicant at some schools. :)
