Who's gotten their lettters?

I saw on one thread that someone got an acceptance letter December 31st. On another, I just saw another person saying they had been accepted. I still haven’t gotten a letter one way or the other. Am I alone, or have other people still not heard?

I know Beloit’s notification deadline is January 15th, but they do have a reputation for beating their deadlines and I have seen those acceptances. I REALLY hope I get a letter soon; if I hear before January 15th, I might not apply to other schools.

My niece hasn't gotten one yet; I'm getting worried, too, since I saw those same posts you did! She did get some information about the scholarship weekends so that's keeping me hoping!

Cowbell-we got a call from AdCom, they are sending them out 1/15

Thanks Pete!

My letter came in the mail today.

Mine too!!!!

We need a Facebook group!

question to all who recvd acceptances. Did any include any pledges of dollars in addition to a 'yes'? if so, what were the pledges?

D got her acceptance yesterday as well. AdCom might have been covering himself with date. We got an invitation to scholarship weekend (both in the mail and phone). Two weeks after the weekend visit they indicated they would let us know of any awards.

when will scholarship w/e occur?

Feb 1-2 or Feb 15-16. Your pick.

anyone know the criteria for beloit to invite a student to scholarship w/e?

This information is on the school's website. Here it is for the presidential scholarship

and the Eaton

thanks, more cowbell.

Hah! M daughter has mentioned 'more cowbell' to me, jokingly, more than a few times. Are you a student at Beloit or a parent?

Neither-- my niece applied there. She still hasn't gotten a letter, by the way.

We got a letter last week, but was a deferral. Question: The letter stated it wanted to see the mid year grades. Do all deferral letters say that or is it better to receive one like this? Just curious.

I received my letter before Dec. 31, but I haven't received any information about scholarship weekends. I sent in my application for one of the music scholarships, but that's about it.

My college counselor was forwarded the acceptance letter and said that it was the most personal acceptance letter that she's ever read. I would really like to attend Beloit, but I'm not sure that it would be possible without more scholarship money.

Louder, Contact your admissions rep for information about the scholarship weekend. There are two, both in February. You have to meet certain grade and test requirements (they are on the website), but it is worth doing if Beloit is on your radar.
