who's made it into more movies: harvard VS princeton

off the top of my head:

H: - stealing harvard, legally blonde, some movie my parents have about some kid who's parents are narcotics who got into harvard

P: a beautiful mind, harold and kumar

P: good will hunting

The school in A Beautiful Mind is Princeton?!

H - Harvard Man (It sucks so much that Harvard should sue or something)

H: With Honors

Yeah... John Nash went to Princeton for grad school.

H: upcomming da vinci code starring tom hanks

Princeton: Spanglish...

kinda...

Harvard : How High

P: A Cinderella Story

No, Good Will Hunting was set at MIT, with several mentions of Harvard.

H: Love Story, Paper Chase.

P: Risky Business

P: Batman Begins, sort of

H: Some figure skating movie with Kim Catrall.

Doesn't Harvard have something about not allowing people to film on campus? That's why all the actual scenes of Legally Blonde were shot at USC (I think) and the aerial shots at the beginning were the only actual shots of Harvard.

coureur, i don't know anybody else who has seen "love story" except you. :)

And apparently, you :-)

More Harvard Movies:
The Firm
Soul Man
Harvard Here I Come (a lot older than Love Story)

I think Love Story (written by a Yalie) was the last movie to be allowed to film on the Harvard campus.

k, so far, heres the tally with both film'ed on campus AND mentions

H: 14
P: 6

"Brown of Harvard" - John Wayne's first movie.

In Mona Lisa Smile, Topher Grace's character goes to Harvard UG and Penn Law. Julia Stiles' character gets into Yale Law.

(Unrelated, but Philadelphia, Unbreakable and the new Disney movie Invincible all have scenes filmed on Penn's Campus- we couldn't use franklin field the past month cuz f-ing Marky Mark was shooting)

Its funny cause before I found out that both MIT and Harvard do not allow filming on their campus, during my first tour of MIT I tried to look for the exact spot of where the beginning (when Will was solving the problem in the hall) was filmed... after I failed, it was only later on I found out that MIT doesn't allow people to film on their campus.. = (

and me. it was awful :(

the book was good though :D

Anyone know why Harvard and MIT don't allow anyone to film their campus?
