Who's paying the prom ticket?

Every other guy in my group is paying for the girl's ticket (which is 62 dollars and includes dinner) except for mine... Haha, I'm not too upset over it, but just wondering are you guys splitting the cost or not?

I’m paying for mine and the guy’s.
And his tux lmao.

“I” pay for my prom ticket. Meaning, my parents hand me money and I go pay for it. Everyone I went with paid for their own ticket since we were going sans dates, but in reality, most of their parents paid for their tickets.
There are literally not enough guys to go around at my school. It’s not even close. And way too many of the guys won’t go with anyone anyway. It’s not uncommon to go without a date.

I paid for both, part of the money was my actual money. I also am paying for transportation for both. I’m the guy.

i paid for my own ticket (im the girl). only like three guys (out of twenty) in my party bus paid for their dates tickets.

paying for my half of the ticket. will pay for dinner, pictures, whatever else costs money that night.

im the guy.

im paying for my date’s ticket and pics
we’re splitting dinner haha i dont have THAT much money to spend

I’m not sure what I should do as far as paying, our tickets are only twenty so I’ll probably pick hers up just to be nice but idk about the other stuff.

I’m a girl, and I’m paying for the guy’s since he graduated last year. I’m also paying for both of us in the limo. Tickets are gonna be about 120 and the limo is 125…thats 490 just for tickets and the limo. The same guy came with me last year and I paid for his ticket (99). He’s getting his own tux, but my mom is making the corsage for free since she has a flower shop, he just has to pick it up. We’re eating at prom, no reason to go out first. Pics are included in the ticket.

Wow, that’s one expensive ticket…

Wow y’all must have some top-class proms or something… nearly triple-digit prices!

Our prom costed me $30… and I paid for my ticket and my date’s.

Unless your prom is astronomically expensive, then I think the boy should pay for himself and his date too…

I’m going with a male friend, so I hope he’ll let me pay my own ticket. I anticipate going dutch on dinner, too. Our tickets are cheap ($15), so I’m not too concerned.

my gf is cool (and makes more money than me lol) she paid for hers, we’re prolly splitting dinner, but im getting her something extra myself.

my date paid for mine (i’m a girl)… ours was $50 a piece

I’m paying for my date’s pre-prom dinner and transportation lol. But not the ticket, cause it’s like $65 per person and I’m not made of money.

My date is paying for mine ($62) and our dinner is included in the ticket. I doubt we have any sort of transportation plans…but if we did I’d obviously pay my share for that.

M, do we have transportation plans?

My boyfriend is REALLY REALLY POOR so I’ll be paying my own way. And possibly his. We haven’t talked about it yet, though.

Our prom tickets are 80/90 at the cheapest (and depending on if you have a student activities card) and like 95/105 at the mot expensive I think. Plus limo, dress, etc. My boyfriend isn’t paying for my ticket… I kind of wish he was because I feel like it is sort of tradition. But then again, I would never want to pay that much either so I would never ACTUALLY expect him to pay.

i’m the girl and i invited an underclassman[as a friend] so i payed for his ticket but we are paying for our own food and outfits.
