Who's ready for March 14th?

Doing nothing. Aiming for a 2400. I scored a 2340 and 2330 already, so a 2400 shouldn’t be in the realm of insanity.

Almost no prep… no time to study really with all the school work and exams.
probably not gonna score more than 2000 if I do that’s a miracle
I just went over grammer concepts using Rocket Review and now I’m reviewing for math concepts. I’ve done some vocab out of Word Smart book, and did not do any practice tests –> I feel so stupid :frowning:
But I’m gonna try to do better in June or October…

Oh, and btw, people here are SO SMART!!! How can you get over 2300??? That’s like impossible…

Getting over a 2300 is easy if you’re good at solving math problems quickly, recognizing grammar errors, and reading essays by people writing about the most dull of topics.

It’s 2400 that’s difficult.

^ Aren’t you a senior? Just taking it for kicks?

just did practice test and got
C.R. - 580 (WHAT?!)
Math - 800 (decent)
Writing - 710 (could do better)

Is there anyway I can improve my C.R. score in 2 days???

I bombed the January one. I need to do well on this one. I want 2250+

Haven’t had time to study, and I’m not going to (huge research paper)

Right now I’m trying to decide if I should sleep or study x_x

Minimum study this time, took it in January, so I am moderately prepared. Hoping for a +2000 at least. 2100 would be great.

yes I hoping for a 2100 as well
I’ve been so busy I haven’t had a chance to intensely prep… we’ll see how it goes

Just did the last BB practice test…

CR 800 (-2, that’s usually 800 right?)
M 800
W 800

Don’t want to get my hopes up though…

i am shooting for 2100. I’ve memorized the pr hit parade, almost finsihed the free online cb test, and did scattered sections from the pr 11 test book. Not to stray to far from the topic, but do you guys have any quick tips or a formulaic approach for doing well on the essay, since I really haven’t practiced them at all, and fear that it will screw me over on the writing section.

For the essay, I suggest you not practice for the essay and hope that you’ll miraculously do well on the test day… it’s a good strategy. That’s how I got 12.

just nervous
since if i dont do so well this time
i have to put it away for few months
until i’m done with AP’s and SAT2’s
and get ready again on October or so.
just want to get it done
and get it out of my mind
2200+ppllzzzz

@Arachnotron, that’s basically what I’m doing as well.
Haven’t had any time to study with all my schoolwork. Probably going to only have time for one practice test tomorrow.
Shooting for a 2350+. Got a 2310 on my last testing in October.

why do you guys with over 2300 take the test again?

wait a minute. How are you guys figuring out the exact score u got on the BB practice tests. They give you ranges!! is the score u think u would get the higher score on the range???

@thefranchize9 i usually just do the average

@112358: Almost the same with me, except I got one wrong on M. I keep thinking that the BB tests get easier toward the end…maybe it’s just me.

@thefranchize9: Yep, most of us just take the exact averages. I like to give myself three scores - high, low, and medium just to see my range.

@Xaari: I haven’t found them to be getting easier. In fact, on this last one I thought I bombed the CR, and then I only had two wrong. I think my intuition is just getting better for CR questions.

Maybe they seem easier because you’re getting better at them :)

I take the middle range, unless I get -1 or -2 CR, in which case I just give myself an 800 because that will almost always be an 800.

serious CR will be a pain for me I cannot achieve a 600. Shooting for 1900-2000+ Hopefully 600+ CR 650+ WR 700+ M

My highest dream would be a 2100 with an 800 CR, 700 in Writing, and 600 in Math.
In reality my goal is a 2030, 800 in CR, 650 in writing, and a 580 in math. I have done lots of self studying and one on one with tutors. I’m so nervous!
